I got this because I thought my grandson would like to play with it when he comes over for a visit and I was right. The funny thing is, my husband got just as much fun playing with it as our grandson did. It roars when you press on the side and it lights up. This toy is great! They are getting a lot of fun out of this.
I purchased this for my 4 year old Grandson. He absolutey loves it!!! It is very well made and has a lot of detail. The wings move, the eyes light up, arms move, he roars, and he walks very sturdy. Best feature...he blows smoke. The remote control egg is a perfect fit for this dragon. This is an amazing gift at a fantastic price. Any child would be thrilled!!!
I got this for my kids because they love dragons. My husband opened it up "to get it set up for them." I had to take the egg remote from him after 15 minutes so they could play with it. It walks, flaps its wings, opens its mouth, and the way it mists water with a blue light behind it makes it look like it really breathes ice. The tail comes detached easily, but attaches back with no problem and stays on as long as the dragon is on the floor. Side note to cat owners: they are not a fan.
Overall, I am really happy with the Adventure Force Vesuvius Remote Control Fiery Dragon toy. The dragon is a great size at about 13.5” long and about 13.625” tall. The dragon came with the required batteries, but the remote control batteries were not included. I love that it takes typical sized batteries, so it's easy to replace them as needed with what we always have on hand. I love that it comes with the bottle for the smoke. It comes empty and you have to put clean water in it. I had to use about twice of the recommended drops to make it breathe smoke. The remote control is shaped like an egg and has really simple controls. All 3 of my kids had an easy time maneuvering the dragon and their favorite part was making him breathe smoke! The dragon does quite a few things such as walking, roaring, flapping its wings and breathing smoke from its mouth. The details on the dragon are really nice, like its realistic looking teeth, eyes that light up, a giant tail with scales, and that its arms, feet and wings all move. I would definitely recommend this toy to anyone looking for a large, unique toy for a dragon fan!
I received the Adventure Force fire Vesuvius Dragon toy. This is a great gift for any Dragon toy lover. This dragon has a 13 ft range. The adventure Force fire Vesuvius Dragon toy has many great features. The dragon moves. It does come with a remote control that requires 2 Double AA batteries. The dragon itself requires three Double AA batteries. The first function the remote control has makes the dragon move forward. The second function on the remote control makes the dragon flap its wings. The third function on the remote control makes the dragon breathe fire. This adventure Force fire Vesuvius Dragon eyes glows, flaps its wings, blows smoke directly from its mouth, and makes sounds. My young nephew absolutely loves dragons. When he saw this Adventure Force fire Vesuvius dragon he was so excited. He's never had a dragon that actually blows smoke. My nephew played with this adventure Force fire dragon toy for hours. This makes a fantastic Christmas gift for any Dragon toy lover.
The Adventure Force Fire Dragon Toy looks fierce. The orange and purple combination colors of the dragon are striking and very dragon appropriate. The Fire Dragon is securely packaged and takes a bit of time and care to unpack. The Dragon walks forward and moves its arms. It will also flap its giant wings. Its eyes light up. It makes screaming, growling dragon sounds. Smoke looking water vapor will come from its mouth. After adding the recommended six drops of water, nothing happened, but after adding about one third of the provided dropper container I had filled with water, smoke billowed from its mouth. Little guy was delighted with this Fire Dragon Toy because for him it is something different from the usual toys he gets and so far he has maintained his interest in the Fire Dragon. Great toy.
This dragon is awesome. It has a mist that looks like smoke coming out of its mouth. The roar and the lights are added bonuses. it walks along with the egg shaped remote control. Any kid would enjoy playing with this dragon.. You add a few drops of water to the top of the head for the smoke.
This is a big guy. I did not measure but he's probably around a foot high and maybe a foot wide. Lots of pros for the Adventure Force Fire Dragon. He roars nice and loudly. His mouth and eyes glow blue and red, respectively, when he roars. His wings flap and he ambles on, strolling along while moving is little dragon arms. Last, but certainly, not least, he breathes dragon smoke! How cool is that? My 8 year old daughter loves it! He has demolished several doll neighborhoods and driven many of them out of their towns. The cherry on top is that he comes with a remote. There are three big buttons. One button makes him walk and move his arms. One button makes him flap his wings and the last one makes him breathe out his smoke (cold steam), thanks to a few drops of water into a little hidey hole in the top of his head. He comes with his own water dropper. He also has a button, cleverly hidden on his body, that you can press to make him roar. The few cons I found are that his wings come off relatively easily and the steam is a bit iffy. Sometimes it won't come out when you press the button a few times and then it comes out all at once. But, my kid does not care. She's still a big fan. So I'm happy that she's happy.
Pretty cool dragon for the price. Works just like it should. It has three functions. One button controls stomp forward, the second makes it flaps its wings and the third button controls the fire-breathing action. I had no trouble attaching the tail. Some people said the tail was hard to get on. I recommend reading the instructions. The only thing that disappointed me was the fact you can only use one button at a time other than that it is a nice decent dragon.
This toy is pretty cool looking. My nephew seems to enjoy it and he's five in age. It does what it's suppose to hit walks around and makes noise. The toy is a lot bigger then expected, it stands over a foot tall, I like that he can control it with the remote. It also comes with drops that you put in the dragons mouth and it blows like smoke.
