I bought this blood pressure monitor that speaks for my legally blinded great aunt. She loves it very much. She is so eager to show it to all her friends. They all think it is a wonderful tool as well as a toy. My great aunt is having a great time with it. This tool makes her eager to measure her blood pressure like children with their favorite toys.
Great for the money. I purchased for father-in-law with macular degeneration. The voice is a little hard to understand as it has a very strong British accent and it uses some medical terminology. After using it several times, it was easy to pick out the readings and ignore the medical terms. However, overall it is great unit for the money.
I've had the monitor for about a month. It's very easy to use, and the readings seem accurate.
I have used it for about two weeks, for the first week and a half it worked fine. Yesterday, it went off on its own with my wifes BP about 300/200 and mine about the same. I hate to joke about something as serious as hypertention, but I think I should have gone ahead and bought something more dependable. I believe I will try to return this one and get another brand.
It is not accurate. I am very disappointed with this equipment.
