The light fits nicely on my bedside table and does not look out of place. I like the ability to adjust the brightness. For years I've thought about getting a seasonal affective disorder. I need to get myself a therapy light. Getting this light I found it helped with that fatigue and desire to sleep.
Well worth the price! I ordered one for my sister and myself. We have been using it every morning for the last week and already noticing a huge difference. Living in the Northern part of the Midwest, it is a must have!
Solid build, accurate timers. Got this after carefully studying the specs, in particular the lighting outputs, which are precise and in line with an evidence-based phototherapy program that I bought three years ago to strengthen mitochondria/immunity/physical performance. I thought I wouldn't need this till fall (when the CoVid 2nd wave is expected to hit the U.S.), but was able to try it out during a string of cloudy days. The light definitely "wakes up" my mind and body. I feel more energized and ready to start the day. Has a vertical stand with a tiny footprint and can easily fit on a nightstand. Well-designed and easy to use. I don't need the natural sounds/white noise function to fall asleep, but they are soothing and calming any time of day. Recommend.
Purchased this SAD light as I have seasonal depression and Lupus which is triggered by cold rainy weather. It says it helps with both and it does BUT after one use the light started flickering and then it would turn on and off then it wouldn't turn off when you pressed the button. Needless to say I am returning this one. Hopefully this is a one time defect BUT I don't think I'll be purchasing this brand again JUST IN CASE.
It did not work so I returned it.
I was never able to get the lamp to illuminate and the soothing sounds were more irritating than anything.
Not worth the price! All the sounds are alike.
Cheaply made, parts missing. Returning. So disappointed. Really tiny light box.
