I wanted something that wasn't so chemical based as other products, so I gave this a try. I've been using it for about two weeks. I have ingrown hairs on and under my chin and have scars from plucking said hairs. After two weeks of use, the scars are much lighter in color, and the ingrown hairs have decreased by at least half. I have combination skin, dry on the cheeks and forehead and oily on the T zone. This gets my face clean without drying me out, it's wonderfully moisturizing. I'd recommend it for anyone, even my rosacea is calming down. The smell is sweet, a bit coconutty, but not overpowering. Good stuff! I'm using it in the morning and right before bed, and applying Aveeno Active Naturals positively nourishing cocoa + shea butters whipped souffle for my night time moisturizer. The combination is glorious, my skin hasn't been this good since before acne hit as a teenager!
Even when my face on the oily side this face wash work amazingly. Leaving my skin very clean and moisture. It has also improve the acne on my face.
Been using it for years - love it's gentle, non greasy, washoff easily. Not for oily skin but good for delicate to dry.
My problem with facial washes in the past is that they always made my skin tight and dry...like they stripped moisture, even when it stated that it wouldn't. My skin also reacts to most conventional stuff on the shelves. This, however, is SO much different! My skin isn't dry after use, nor do I have that tightness feeling! You only really need a dime size amount of this stuff! Another plus is that I have no reaction from it and it's cruelty-free. If you have the same problem I do, or similar then buy this!
I've tried it all from expense french department store to organic cleansers. I really like this product. I'm too tired when I get home at nite to look for eye make up remover and facial cleanser. I just grab my alba and it's so gentile one pump all over and a little swipe across my lid I'm done and off to bed. And it leaves no drying tightness unlike burt's bee deep cleanser.
I will be back for more once I run out. Took a chance on it and love it. This product is good for someone with sensitive oily skin. It does not get over "sudsy" and contains natural ingredients. I prefer products like that as the sudsy cleansers tend to dry my skin out too much. I have used it with the moisturizer but even without it will leave your skin soft and moisturized.
I love this product I found it on accident at Ross and wow I'm so glad I found it. It's perfect for my skin I have seen such and improvement on it. My face feels so clean and hydrated after every wash it's perfect for sensitive skin and its very gentle I love it and the best part is you just need a little product for every wash.
Leaves my face feeling moistured after washing, "no tight feeling" is true. Does take a little getting used to though, smell fades through the day.
Love this ALBA stuff. Heard they re-engineered their products and I don't know how it use to perform, but all I know now is that this stuff is great. Have purchased department store facial washes for years, and it's nice to know I don't have to do that because I can't see the difference from paying 40.00 and up for a facial wash to something along these price lines. That's also very true of their body creams and shampoos.
I like this product but does not provide the high quality expected
