This is something I keep in the medicine cabinet at all times. When I have a bad upset stomach no matter the cause this is my go too. It neutralizes all the acid and calms it down. Many years ago when I used to get hangovers this would always help me out.Yes the con is the taste that I always figured if you could take a shot of liquor you could definitely take the strength of this
I've used the effervescent heartburn tablets for years, but I cannot seem to find them now at typical pharmicies and even at this site, when I find the product, the only selections are for the gummies instead. I've recommended the tablets to lots of folks and according to them, they did the job. I'll try the gummies, but I don't see how the relief can be as immediate as the effervescent tabled dissolved in plain, old water.
It works fast and not chalky. I love the the taste.
Kills heartburn fast! Love them. The only thing that stops the symptoms fast.
I have been using Alka-Seltzer Heartburn for years when I have needed fast relief from heartburn. It works quickly and doesn't contain the asprin as regular Alka-Seltzer. I have tried the chewable formula and don't find that it works as well but is good on the go when I don't have water available. I have been disappointed that this product seems to be harder and harder to find in stores. When I do find it, I usually buy a couple of boxes just in case.
This is by far the best heartburn relief we've ever used. The gummies don't work, nor do the other products in this line of Bayer pproducts. They may work well for others but not for us. I hope that this product is not being discontinued.
Best fast acting heartburn relief I've found. Nice taste, as well. I need the relief, and I'm NOT a fan of omeprazole. This product works, and it doesn't contain acetaminophen, aspirin or any of the other things I don't need. Why it's increasingly hard to locate, and getting more and more expensive is very irritating. Why is this the case??? It's simple, effective relief that seems to be a necessary item in a line of great products. You can't tell me that any of the other products in this line work anywhere near as well, I've tried them all, and many other products. It works, why make it difficult to come by?
I get really bad heartburn, and most of the OTC medications that I take will help temporarily, and then I'm having to take more. I have found that the Alka Seltzer Heartburn was what I needed the whole time. Once I take a dose, I get relief quickly, and my heartburn doesn't return later in the day. I don't especially like the flavor, but it's worth it. It's the best I've found so far.
This worked well if taken right Aastra the onset of heartburn. I have pretty severe acid reflux at times and the Alka seltzer worked a little but ended up going back to my prescription. It did however, work for those small tummy upsets that occurred after a big meal, etc.
Alka Seltzer is a great product but the photo they use is not the product I received. The photo is of a specific "Heartburn" formula that does not include aspirin. The product shipped is the Original version which does include aspirin. I am allergic and this is a big deal to me.
