I had a 4 inch memory gel pad on my mattress but I can’t wash that so I replaced it with this Allswell sensacool mattress cover and it is sensational. It is cool to the touch when I roll over on a hot summer night, like last night, there’s a nice cool spot for me. I have the queen size and it will easily be washed and the fit was perfect for my deep pocket mattress. I think I’m going to buy one for my double bed.
This is a beautiful pillow mattress cover that is so soft so comfy and so cool to the touch anybody would love to have this on their bed and it fits so well on my queen size mattress I recommend this for friends and family and anyone else that needs something to help them sleep at night with something that's so comfortable.
Let me just say I was shocked that this mattress pad felt cooler than the rest of the bedding. I put it on the bed, put my hand on the pad and it really felt cooler. I took it off half of the bed and laid on each side. The side with the Sensacool mattress pad felt cooler. I wish I had a way to measure if there is an actual temperature difference. I know during the summer, this will be my go to mattress pad. I am ordering another for my second bedroom. Also I have very thick mattresses and this easily fits the mattress. The logo is printed all over the mattress pad, so thin white sheets may show the logo.
If you’re a hot sleeper you need this mattress topper! I haven’t been waking up sweating and uncomfortable, it’s helped me get much more restful sleep. I love how well this fits on my bed, it’s snug and secure and doesn’t move around excessively or need to be repositioned unlike other toppers I’ve tried. This one is fluffy, but doesn’t change the softness/firmness of a bed much. It has more of a pillow top type effect. Especially for foam mattresses, this topper is a must have, my hot flashes are no match for the technology this topper uses!
And a bit softer. I have a very nice foam mattress already. All the bells and whistles. My wife has trouble sleeping in the summer though. The heat is it. This she says helps a lot. I sleep like a rock anywhere but, even I noticed it being cooler and softer. Our bed is 16 inches thick and this had room to spare and still fits very nicely. This out performs even a very nice mattress pad a lot. If you need a new mattress pad get one it is very nice.
The mattress pad definitely adds a later of softness to an older mattress. Don't let the appearance while it is still sealed in the plastic sleeve fool you. The pad grew fluffier as soon as it was out of the packaging and more so after a quick wash and dry. It should be noted that the instructions state you must use a front loading machine or a large machine with no agitator. I found this to be the case, so keep that in mind. The fit on our mattress was good. I don't think an extra thick mattress would do as well. Our sheets fit perfectly. They are microfiber sheets that fit loosely. If you have a snug set of sheets, you may need a different set. All in all, this is a comfortable and functional mattress pad.
I’ve only slept on this mattress pad a couple of nights because I had washed my sheets just the day before it arrived. I put it on top of my old one because, why not? The skirt reaches underneath the corners of the mattress but doesn’t cover the sides. The name is printed all over the top which makes it easy to see which direction it goes. Few of these (and fitted sheets) identify which direction they go in any way, so two thumbs up for that. It adds loft and comfort. I’m not sure about cooling because I did wake up sweating, but maybe not as much…? Pictures included, yardstick indicates fit/mattress height.
This is a lightly plush mattress pad which I like. It isn't so thick that it does not fit under a standard bottom sheet. It is cool to the touch and It does help me sleep cooler at night. If you shift in your sleep you can find a cool spot but the mattress pad doesn't stay cool where you are laying. I didn't expect this to feel constantly cool so it does meet my expectations as it is. It is a good quality mattress cover! I did recieve this item in exchange for my honest opinion and I do reccomend it.
I’m a hot sleeper so having a mattress topper that will help keep my body cool at night is just what I’ve always needed. It’s so easy to slip onto your mattress and stays in place. When I put my sheet on top of it, it does make the bed just a tad bit slippery. The important part is it does work to keep me cool. I wish it was just a bit thicker. It’s made with hypoallergenic polyester fiberfill. Supports mattress size up to 18 inches deep. It’s machine washable. I enjoy having a good, nice, cool sleep now.
As far as being comfortable and feeling cool at night, it was absolutely amazing…..But….it fell apart within a few days!! The stitching that holds the top mattress pad material to the sides were missing every so often. I didn't realize it until I washed it after a few days of use. I followed washing directions and when I went to put it back on the bed, there were decent size holes along where stitches had come loose because they never fully caught the material. It also had lots of piling on the side material after washing and looks like I had used it for months and not days. I returned it for a full refund. Very happy with the cooling effects, but extremely disappointed with the quality of the workmanship. It was bad enough that I can only give one star!!
