Contacted Alpine Customer Service (which was very easy to reach) due to a problem we were having with our Alpine 1000 Gallon Uv-C Pond Filter . They immediately responded with instructions to help them evaluate the problem. After reviewing the requested information, they very quickly shipped us a new filter, at no additional cost to us.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this filter because it has a UV-C filter built right in. It is doing a great job co trolling algae and icky growth in our koi pond. It is well made and solid, there was zero assembly required, I just had to connect it to our existing pond filter tubing. The barbed end connector made easy work of that. The foam filter is large and is easy to clean. There is an external color coded indicator to let you know you need to clean the foam filter. It goes from green to red when it is time. The UV filter helps control the growth of algae and is easily replaced when it needs to be. This is a very convenient and efficient pond filter that is working well to help us keep our pond and fish healthy.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed more filtration for our outdoor pond. This was a great addition to our system. It helped clear up our pond in about a day and a half. It has a filter indicator on the top which is great so you don't have to shut down the system to check the filter.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product a few weeks Ago! It's awesome! It will definitely come in handy with my small backyard pond!
It arrived on time and is doing a job great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are more than delighted with our new Bio-Pure Pressure UV-C filter! The installation was a breeze to so, so easy; we dug up a hole next to our pump and put the filter there, connected the hoses and in no time we had the unit working. It is super quiet and runs without any issues. We love that there is an indicator (green/red) that lets you know when maintenance is due. We have a 2,000 gallon pond with many plants in it and it stays crystal clear between this filter, the filter for large debris from the regular pump and the enzymes we use. I highly recommend this unit, we are so happy with it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently received our Alpine Corporation Bio-Pure Pressure UV-C filter, and immediately put it to use. While we do still have to put it in the ground, we found installation very simple. At first, we did have water leaking out of the cleaning indicator, but once we made the proper adjustments, it was fine. We love having the UV-C filtering and the cleaning indicator features, which our old filter did not have. As of the time of the review, the filter is working well, and doing what it should.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Alpine Bio-Pure Pressure Filter is a welcome addition to our pond. Set up was pretty simple and it appears to be working nicely. When spring rolls around, that will be the true test once my fish begin eating again. We need to work out a way to disguise it all of our other filter systems have been submersible and this one isn't but I'm sure we will come up with something. The indicator for cleaning is a very nice touch.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just know you need a pump to make this filter work. It sits outside of the pond and filters the water. It has a blue light to kill bacteria and the rest is standard. If you want a clear pond, then get a filter!
This alpine pond filter is junk it won't stop leaking out of the cleaning indicator and when the company is called the phone just ring save your money and buy something a more better
