[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had Amy's Kitchen Cheese Enchilada, and it was delicious. My husband and I split the dinner and added white rice to it. I don't think it looks very pretty, but it was easy to make and had a great flavor and texture. We both thought it tasted like what you would get at a Mexican restaurant, not from the freezer.
I blasted Amy's on their organic lasagna but this is delicious… complex flavors you wouldn't expect in a microwave dinner! Dairy free, gluten free, but 68 g carbohydrates with 20g added sugars, 40% of daily value.
First thing, don't judge it by the smell. I smelled it and did not like the smell, but have learned to try new things even though they didn't smell good because the nose can fool you of how something tastes. This is one thing that was great and do not regret trying. It had seasoned tofu, noodles, broccoli, etc and ordered this from Walmart again to have on hand. I wanted this in hand for when the cravings start for something tasty. If you are on the fence, just try it.
Usually I add seasonings to other frozen meals, but I love Amy's Kitchen Pad Thai as is. The sweet and sour sauce, the organic veggies, rice noodles are all yummy. I appreciate the substitution of cashews for the peanuts so that my nephew and several other family members who have peanut allergies can eat this delightful meal.
I've eaten this gluten-free, veg dish many times, so was not disappointed. Personally, I always feel the need to add some broccoli and peanut butter, as it's seriously lacking in greens veggies. other than this, I enjoy this dish %26 keep it around for emergency meals. Tastes good, could be improved with more veggies, lol.
Doesn't have the taste of Thai pad Thai. Has more noodles than anything. I won't be buying this brand in the future. Tofu pieces can't hardly be seen and tasted.
I've had some good frozen dishes from this company and this was a huge disappointment. Had some pieces of hard broccoli and something else mixed in. Inedible for me. Don't waste your money on this pad Thai and try something else!!
Most meals from this company are good, but this one went in the trash. and I hate wasting anything. Need to go back to drawing board on pad Thai or discontinue
First time buying this Amy's product. Much of the food was rubbery and very difficult to chew….broccoli, carrots, and onions were rubbery or hard and I could not chew them. I was able to eat some noodles which had good flavor. Was surprised to see some mystery seeds, at least one seed looked like an orange seed. Not the usual Amy's quality I am accustomed to enjoying. Very disappointed.
Too much vinegar taste, overwhelming that the only taste came from the broccoli. The only part that tasted good was the oversize broccoli. I would not purchase this item again, however you may like it.....
