Animated Reindeer Light Sculpture

We bought both of the animated reindeers that are on this website. They look wonderful in the daytime as well as at night (when they are on). They're life size with a gentle movement in the neck.
This is the female reindeer I purchased to go with the buck reindeer. This one moves its head slowly up and down. Again, instructions for putting it together were not great. The silver/white tinsel lets you see that it is a reindeer during daytime hours. It is a nice size. As it is a Xmas product, it hasn't yet been used and have no idea how long the motor will last. It is quite cute.
While this product was certainly not very expensive, the lights went out on one side after having only displayed it for a few days. My husband tried to replace the bulbs or find the origin of the problem but was unsuccessful. He finally switched the deer around so that the unlighted side was facing in from the entrance walk to our house.
