Good noodle
I've tried this 1 & the us on flavored one they're both good. The miso flavor is the much milder of the 2. I like to add crunchy rice noodles & soy sauce but it's good by itself.
I love the thick noodles - I add soy sauce, ginger paste and hot sauce, sliced meat (usually leftover steak) and some chopped broccoli. Delicious base to add any number of sauces, meats, mushrooms or veggies. Very satisfied.
Okay, so being a determined spinster of 30 years, I've probably tried 3/4 of the microwave meals in existence. This brand happens to be my favorite because #1 it always has a homemade quality to it. #2 It has WAY less salt than all of the other brands #3 It just makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Yeah, it's that good. The Udon soup is my fav., but this is a close second. Yes, it does have udon noodles, too, and chunks of tofu. Don't be put off by the tofu if you aren't a fan because you can totally get around it easily, or just not add the toppings. You can also control how much sauce to add. Nice miso flavor kind of like the broth in won ton soup.
I love all soups from Annie Chun, especially the Miso! This soup is good when you're sick, when the weather is cool, or just when you feel like eating soup! The taste is wonderful and sometimes I even chop up spinach to add to it. I feels you up and leaves you satisfied!
When I tried Miso soup at a very nice Japanese restaurant, I fell in love with it. It's a light kind of soup with a distinct, different flavor. For me, it was an acquired taste because when I first tried it, I wasn't sure if I liked it but before I finished the bowl of soup its mild yet exotic taste had me hooked. So, of course when I saw Annie Chun's Miso Soup mix, I had to try it. My expectations weren't much because, after all, it's a soup mix, but I was pleasantly surprised. Annie Chun's Miso tasted quiet good. What I really liked about it were the generous portion of Udon noodles included in the package. Another thing I liked about it is that it comes with a bowl which is microwavable and is sturdy enough to handle the microwave's heat without melting or becoming misshapen. For a soup which is different from the every-day box or canned soups and offers a Japanese restaurant flavor, I would recommend Annie Chun's Miso Soup mix.
Con i.e. the easy and good tasting
Never had Miso soup before and I was anxious to try this product. I found it to be too bland. Not much flavor.
It's a very good soup, but unfortunately my driver must of left it in his car cause I didn't get in my order today
Tastes horrible! Noodles are gross. No seasoning or salt so it has a bitter taste. 2 mouthfuls and then into the trash.
