Works perfectly what I needed it for ...just keep in mind safely first
This gadget works exceptionally well. Tested it in 5 gallons of water, first. 10 minutes and temperature was over 100 degrees F. Used it as supplemental heat for 220 gallon container and it pulled up water temperature 30 degrees F in about around 3 hours. Electricity use is negligible. Suggest using shock buster or GFCI adapter between wall socket and water source, even if outlet has GFCI. Excellent product.
This worked heating 5 gallons of water in 5 gal bucket within 10 minutes stir it at 5 mins with heater heat another 5 mins. Warm enough to shower with. Well pleased.
Bought this bucket heater to warm my 60 gallon water tank in a mobile van. Needed an item that was narrow enough to fit in the opening. I use a clamp to hold it in place, takes about 45 minutes to nicely warm the entire tank, works well, Dont leave in tank too long will start to boil the water...
got bad one it never got water even luke warm no packing or return slip either
Absolutely worthless. Cheap material, dulled immediately
The price was $47.00. The instructions state that you can't use an extension cord with the bucket heater and also can't use the device in cold water. I bought the device to heat up cold water. Total waste of my time. When I requested an RMA, I had to pay $16.00 shipping and 15% restocking fee. At first, I took the device to Walmart. They refused to provide a full refund. Customer service stated that I had to return the device to a third party vendor even though I bought the device off of the web site at Walmart.com. I will not buy any product from Walmart online in the future. This is the main reason why customers only purchase a product directly from the store instead of online. Walmart should take responsibility for their third party vendor products.
