I have been wanting to get an iPad. I am glad I bought this version of the iPad. The screen resolution is amazing! The battery life is also fantastic. If you've been waiting to buy an iPad the new iPad or if you will the iPad 3 is the version I would highly recommend that you buy. I am using my iPad to write this review. The voice to text option on the new iPad is great when you don't want to use the big on-screen keyboard that can be somewhat cumbersome. There are a lot of apps to download from the app store, from games to productivity apps. If you've been looking to buy a tablet I would recommend the iPad. Sure there are other brands of tablets out there but none of them have the quality of an iPad.
When I first heard about the iPad I thought it would be a waste considering I have an iPhone... But this is an awesome device. Bought it primarily for use for grad school- it's a lot easier to carry around than a laptop. Paired with the apple wireless keyboard makes taking notes easy. Love the Notability app which can be purchased from the app store. Also bought the extended warranty just in case.
I mean it when I say that the new I pad kicks blows away the competition. this thing will blow your mind. it has so many features that the other two I pads seem like something only a caveman would use. I really love the display the words are so much sharper than with the I pad 2. I can promise you it wont let you down.
I have always been a Windows user and decided to try the iPad after enjoying my iPhone. Good decision. Image quality is awesome. Apps are useful and fun. Keyboard on screen is big enough to be useful. I must admit that I am disappointed that I have to buy a new wireless printer in order to print from it. That seems like poor planning on the part of Apple. How hard can it be to access existing wireless printers?
Very easy to setup. I have laptap which i love. If you go to the park or go to the pool or if you are a traveler I recommend to a tablet it going make life so much easy on you. I went away this summer and i took my laptop with me it was heavy carried around me. try out .
I have An iphone also so was easy to get started. Love it. Takes very clear pics and is great for reading and watching movies on. Price was great at Walmart and I did a lot of shopping around first.
I waited to purchase a tablet! I just felt it was a small laptop or a large smartphone. But I simply love it! So do my 12yr old & 3yr old. So far so go! Long battery life - love the facetime and the fact that I can connect from my mobile hotspot on my cell phone at all times. With this I do not have to worry about upgrading my daughter's phone to a smart phone. Just wish I would have purchased 32GB!
The New iPad, as it is called is not enough better than the iPad 2 to justify the extra $100. The retina display is much sharper than before, this is true. The problem is that the Picts and videos that I'm watching AREN'T! So the video appears only as sharp as the sender makes it. I. Otherwords, the iPad 2 shows most picta and vids Just as well as the new iPad. Actually, what I like best is the Easy to use speech to text feature. When typing in almost any document or program, just press the microphone icon and speak normally. When you have finished a sentence or a paragraph, press the icon again and what you said will be translated into text in seconds. I was pleased with how accurately the translation was done. This feature might be great for a child or someone who types slowly, or maybe has poor eyesight. Other than that, however, the new iPad does little that the iPad 2 didn't do as well.
I sold my iPad 2 to purchase this new iPad and I think it's the best decision I ever made. The retina display is absolutely remarkable! I love the charity of the high resolution display. I love the higher quality graphics that the new camera takes, as well as the ability to speak my emails to my iPad with the new dictation feature. I usually get about 10 hours of use out of my iPad before the battery needs to be recharged. I also purchased an Apple TV system and enjoy the ability to browse the web and watch videos through my television set. I would highly recommend the new iPad to anyone looking for a high quality tablet.
I am enjoying this product. It cost more than I thought to spend but I'm glad I did. No regrets because of the clarity and ease of use. Set up was a little tricky but even I figured it out. I can quickly move from one application to another. My mail is easily retrieved, Internet has no waiting and the free applications are fun. The user manual is just a touch or two away. Accessories are a little pricey so I will take my time.
