Love this new 5th gen iPod. It has a brilliant, beautiful, vibrant display and the the recorded video quality is surprisingly excellent. It also surprised me to find out this version actually has a tiny built-in speaker to listen to audio without having earphones plugged into it. Music quality is superb as has always been with the iPod. Purchased this one as an upgrade from 3rd gen 4GB model and it has exceeded my expectations throughout. Build quality is exceptional as is fit & finish. Functionality is good while controls remain intuitive as before. One minor complaint with this new aero form is that it seems harder than with the older design to hold in my hand but, as I said, minor. Another thing Apple apparently did was change the charging capabilities with the 5th gen model. Certain peripheral accessories for use with the previous versions won't charge this new model so charging this one has to be done via the supplied USB cable while connected to your computer (unless you purchase a newer compatible charging device separately). Overall though, I still love this new iPod & would recommend it to anyone.
Boyfriend requested this ipod for his birthday. It's awesome. not only can you listen to music and watch movies, etc you can take pics & videos with it and they are very good quality. the price was the best around and picking it up at the store saved an average of $10 in shipping from other companies that i compared to.
Having owned several iPods and a Sansa in the past, I was surprised at all the features on this iPod. Love the FM radio. The video camera is not for home movies but if jogging thru the woods and you run across Bigfoot the quality is better than the videos on TV. I have no complaints and would recommend this product to anyone.
I have no knowledge of Ipods and the like. This was the easiest electronic I have ever tried. I'm still in the cassette and cd phase. I liked the ease of use and practicality so much, I'm buying one for my husband. I shopped around and found most stores don't carry the 16gb, you have to order it. So, I shopped around again and found that WalMart had the best price, most timely offer. I would recommend this product to everyone!!!! I'm a massage therapist and use my NANO everyday.
I can see why this is such a popular item. It gives great sound, has a good video camera, and radio is nice too.
The Apple IPod is amazing. Besides music, podcasts, movies, etc., this is a podometer, video camera, radio & photo book. Great product!
Just bought this ipod for my son as an early easter gift since his old ipod nano broke and he loves it. It holds a lot of music videos and what ever else you can get on there. The screen is nice and large so it's easy to wach movies on it, you can also play games such as solitare and a maze game but you can also buy games like monopoly and uno. the fm radio is nice. There is a speaker in the back so you can listen to it with your friends. the video camera on the back is very nice, you can make it different colors or make it a mirror and other crazy stuff.
As a typical Apple product, it meets all my expectations. The only downside is that you cannot replace the batteries if they go out, but that is standard with iPods. Works great, and have not had any problems I love it and use it daily!
This is quite the "little" toy. The line between cell phone, camera, video recorder, movie player, music player and radio has been blurred. This doesn't make calls or take still pics, but it does everything else. It is too small to be useful to me, but my 14 year old son thinks it's the greatest. It should come with a silcone cover for the price. It can't handle being dropped. Due to it's small size, this is inevitable. Hope it lasts a long time - was quite pricey.
The only reason I selected "No" for recommendation of this product is because of my experience with the IPOD I purchased. It died on me after about 13 days. Didn't come one anymore, just plain died. I thought it was just battery drained, but after an entire night of charging and battery indicator not showing, it was pretty obvious. Just to be sure it wasn't my charger, I tested with my I-Pod touch too. I really liked the product and features. I enjoyed taking it to the gym 3-4 times a week, but just couldn't chance exchanging to get another bad product. I'm just thankful it died within Walmart's 15 day return policy for MP3 players.
