Great. More features than I expected. Love the extra storage capacity.... can hold more music, pictures, etc than with my other one.
I ordered this, with a Belkin FM transmitter, to use in my car after my cd player died and it was a cheaper fix to the problem. I love everything about it EXCEPT the "voice over" titles are ANNOYING. Make sure you either lock the ipod or disable it the voice. The computer generated, robotic female is an annoying interruption to the song when you hit bumps and it overrides the song playing. Otherwise, I love the product. The video is a GREAT addition to the nano, as this is the second generation of them added to our house. The quality is not bad, considering it isn't the main function of the ipod. It is also VERY easy to upload to your computer. I haven't used the radio yet, so I can't judge that yet. The speaker is a nice feature. My kids tell me that playing the games on it isn't much different than the 3rd gen nano that we already have. You do have to play it in cover flow mode and using the wheel on the side is different than we know but still easy to use. They like having sound while they play WITHOUT headphones. Can't say I enjoy that part when they are using it. :) This is certainly worth the money spent.
This product is durable. I have dropped it and others claimed they have, too and no breakage so far. Even if the screen has no smudges, when it is on, you cannot even notice they are there. The video camera is crisp and clear, and even on the video if you whisper, it can pick it up. The things I dislike about it is that sometimes it freezes for a moment; it tends to get annoying. I also do not like where the video camera is placed. Both the iPod Nano and the screen can be easily scratched or smudged. Tips ---------- The black Nano matches with colored earbuds great, as opposed to getting, lets say an orange iPod. To keep the video camera from catching a finger or a hand during the film, hold the iPod upside-down.
This is my firsst Ipod product and it was very easy to load all my music and pictures on to it. The new radio function is great, actually it's the only reason I hadn't bought this brand before. Just stepped up from a Sony that had the radio function and am much happier with the Nano. :)
Wow, I love it no more CDs all over the car. Love it. If u walk or workout this is nice because it is so light weight. Syncing and operating this is easy and fast. Recommend buying the accessory package, so you have full use of this product right away!
Overall I like the IPOD Nano. I got the 16gb instead of the 8gb because I want to make sure I have enough storage. I wanted to invest in a player that I could use for a while. I got the nano for its size, storage and video camera. It is small enough to fit in my pocket, thus far it has a lot of memory I have not used yet, this is my first Ipod, Itunes is very easy to use with it, its simple to learn how to use the player. I bought a case for mine because I do not want it to get stratched. I have not had any problems with the slide/click wheel. Clicking and sliding goes smoothly on screen. I really like the video camera, its not like a professional digital camera but its awesome. The graphics and pixels are pretty good. Even though the camera is placed in a weird spot upside down, you can easily convert and rotate the video with software. I can watch videos or movies on it. I can hook the IPOD up to a tv. One thing is that the battery does not last long especially when you are recording from the video camera. I had about 50% of battery, listened to music for a while, then recorded a video for testing that was 23 mins long and the battery was dead. So I would really use the the video camera for short video clips unless you always charge your IPOD pretty much everyday to make sure. My IPOD is also on energy saver for the battery which is suppose to make it last longer. There are preset EQ settings if you want to change the sound of music. There is a mic on it too. It allows for podcasts, photos, radio only with headphones, and audiobooks. The radio sounds pretty good overall, I hear a little static but you cant really tell.
this ipod is perfect the only thing that um kinda iffy about is the battery life its ok but not great other than that its an awesme ipod.
Overall the product performs very well. The directions that are provided are very limited in scope, and in some cases more are needed. The ear piece that is provided is adequate, but definately not worth the replacement cost if it goes bad. A cheaper replacement will work just as well. But I do love the ability to hold a lot more songs ... Not that I ever listen to all of them at once, but if the occasion arises, then I am ready. Overall I think this is a great iPod, and a fantastic deal.
I thought the ipod took pictures, however it only takes videos. I was disappointed to find this out. Otherwise, it is a good product
I am disappointed in this prodict in only one area. The description of the 16G Ipod said that it could hold up to 4000 songs. I have just under 900 songs and have used up half of the memory already. The IPOD is really cool, but I don't see it living up to its description.
