The nano is small enough to fit anywhere, go anywhere, and actually holds enough music that I don't have to delete old albums to make room for new. Battery life is excellent. It has a clip build right into the unit so doesn't need a bulky case and I can clip it to my shirt, waistband, a regular sports armband or sports bra. The unit size is small enough that it doesn't bounce when I run either. The screen can change orientation so I don't have to unclip it to see it when changing songs. I just learned that the "screen on/ wake" button is also a song advance if you tap it twice! How cool is that? I got the 16G over the 8G because I like a wide variety of music types and I like my old songs- I want to keep them all in one place. I also own an ipad2, ipod Touch, 4 different original iPod types and this is by far the best. I would never own a Shuffle.
Like the watch app. and ability to buy watch band
Nice for a very active person. There is really no purpose in upgrading unless you need the ultra portability. Touch screen works great, nice materials.
I can not believe how much music and etc. this little Nano holds!!! I've loaded every CD I have (40-50) on this and still have plenty of room for new music. Love It!
I was looking for a new iPod since my last one died. I wanted a purely music oriented iPod this time and I only have about 14 GB of music. This iPod fit the bill - no apps to play with, just pure music. And it also has good battery life. With the way I use it - at least 1 hr continuously, and sporadic usage during the day - the battery lasts about 3-4 days. The size is just phenomenal. I can put it away discreetly when I need to. I can wear it on the collar of my shirt If I choose. The 2 things I recommend buying for it would be screen protectors and a silicon body glove. It's always good to protect your investment. All in all, a good product.
This was my first purchase ever of an Apple product. I absolutely love it. I use the fitness feature on it on a weekly basis and it actually help motivate me to start working out. It is very easy to upload music on to it and helped me open my first iTunes account. The feature I love the most is that I use it as a watch! Everybody at work loves it and several people have followed me an purchased one. The watchband I purchased on line because Walmart does not have many options, just use any search engine and search iPod nano watches and you shall see the different options out there. I hope I was of help to make you consider buying this great product!
I wanted something for music and a few photos and this is perfect. Sounds great, holds 16 GB which is a 1/4 of my collection,,,, portable, fun to flip using touch screen. I just wish it was cheaper, only reason for the one mark on value missing. But otherwise, meets or exceeds expectations. It's my new little friend and don't leave home without it. The software is nice, i-tunes, set up your folders, and plug in the Nano and it auto sync's with folders on computer,,,, if you so choose. This is also how it charges, nice feature for me, no extra charger. My 7 year old niece has an I-Pod Touch, and I think I want one of those now. I'll sell a kidney.
Great price; holds lots of songs.
I loved my nano, but it's only been a year and now the volume is going down on it's own and it's out of warranty... Mmm
