this works very well and has great organization for the songs and has great sound . only it is skinny er than i thought it would be on the side, it is not very compatible with windows Microsoft, and it has to charge plugged into the computer rather than on a wall outlet. otherwise, this is a very great product.

Super cool graphics

The quality of the graphics on this IPod exceeded expectations. We had previously only had experience with an IPod Mini that is at least 3 years old, so had no idea how cool the technology has become! Surprised our 10 year old son with this for Hanukkah/Christmas and he has been thrilled with some games he's downloaded. Also loved the ability to purchase online and pick up at local store, with no delivery charges. All around a super experience!

This is my first iPod and first MP3 player. I like it a lot. It took some time to get to know it, but I really like it. I also purchased a Griffin Roadtrip wireless transmitter to play the iPod in the car and really like it too.

Great Product, but Has Limitations

The best thing about iPods is that they're supposed to be easy, right? They're so over-designed that anyone could get it. And that does hold true. However, if you have anything before the second version of Windows XP, you're not going to be able to install iTunes 8. And if you don't have iTunes 8, you can't sync your iPod to your computer. No worries, though; just pick up a program like MediaMonkey to sync your iPod and use iTunes to buy songs and albums. It feels ridiculous, but, whatever, you can take your music with you anywhere you go. That's cool enough. Then, of course, you get into what the iPod comes with: a syncing cable, which admittedly charges it, and headphones. Hmm. But what if you need to charge it in your car? Why, buy an adapter! What if you don't want it to get all scratched? Buy a cover! The list goes on. Other quality brands, like Sony, include such things... But if you're ridiculous like I am, you want the iPod. And it makes sense, really. This little nano has more space than I could possibly need, is designed extremely well, and feels great in the hand. It doesn't seem like much, that last bit, but it--I dunno, it feels like Quality. It sounds great and this fourth generation seems to have most of the bugs out. Still, if I had gotten the money instead of the iPod, I wouldn't have bought it. But I'm cheap, so... Oh, and it's NOT the orange color in the picture. It's more of a deep copper.

awesome productother than the one problem i had with it-- i had it about ten days, and my pc couldn't read it- the ipod froze up, and i couldn't do any thing. i finally just got upset enough to leave it alone-- the next day it was fine. pugged it into the pc and i had to update software. no problemms since.

I got the ipod nano for christmas when i got it it would not even turn on after being charged for 2 days. Apple sent me a new one and it freezes every time i plug it up to charge for 2 to 4 days. It is froze right now........ It is a good music player thought... And sometimes i plug it to the computer and it does not even rec. it. Also i bought 3 movies on itunes and they were on there for 2 days then just went away....
