I heard many complaints about the shuffle not having any buttons and having the buttons on the headphones, but I dont mind at all. I actually think that it is pretty conveinent. The voice over effect is pretty good too, nice and clear. It even says the name of spanish songs correctly! And for $50? I think its pretty good.
Apple has done i again. iPod Shuffle makes a great gift for someone who likes music but isn't in to technology. It's affordable and hold 500 songs --- which is just enough --- in our case -- a Sr. Citizen in the Nursing Home. Whol loves her shuffle. Sounds good. Is small. Easy to use.
This is very small and it's great! I clip it to my blouse or shirt and can walk, jog or run hands free. It doesn't fall off or become dislodged. It was pretty easy to download my cds to it too. Just follow directions.....and if you've never downloaded songs or copied cds before, ask a teenager!!! They will be able to help a lot!!
I don't see how people don't like this. I love this product. It is better then the older Ipod Shuffle. I recommend this.
My son really wanted an ipod for his 8th birthday, and he had talked about it for months. My husband and I were both clueless in this department. I purchased the Ipod shuffle for a few key reasons: 1. I counted on it to be more reliable v/s other brands. 2. I didn't want to invest a lot of money (hence the shuffle). 3. I asked around and learned that iTunes is very user-friendly. Well, it turned out great!!! I was nervous b/c when I opened it I discovered that the instructions were minimal. However, it does direct you to a website, which has a tutorial and it is actually pretty simple! In no time I had ripped some of his favorite cds (through the use of the website) and bought more songs from the website, and it was loaded and ready to wrap up in shiny paper to be opened by a very excited birthday boy! I love that it is small and simple and has a clip to attach it to a pocket or clothing so it doesn't get lost. The only downfall is that the controls are integrated into the earbuds cord. So, if you want to use other earbuds or headphones, you have to buy an adapter with the controls. There is only one tiny switch on the iPod shuffle and it turns it on in Play, or Shuffle. The controls for volume, pause, forward, back, etc. are located on the earbuds cord. The reason this was a problem for us is because the earbuds are too big to fit in his ears. So, we got an adapter and purchased our own earbuds to use. All in all, we are very happy with this purchase.
I bought this shuffle yesterday. I love the look and color. The size and clip is great for running. ( That is the main reason why I bought it.) My only complaint is the earphones. They never say in my ears. Other than that it's great. I just make a playlist of all my favorite workout songs and use my other headphones.
thiscomes with songs but you can delete and add what you like. my 11 year old loves it. it's so small it is easy to take to school. its was a little expensive but worth it. ipods are great.
I think this product is good for anyone who likes to jog, run,or ride bike. it isn't anything spectacular its just perfect for anyone just looking for a small device to store some music. the little clip on the back works great for anyone to just go out on a walk, jog, run, or bike ride.
Love the size of it as it fits well on my shirt when working out. Only problem, which is critical for me is the lack of adjustments it's incapable of performing. It was great while the original ear piece worked. Then when they bacame shot, I used 3 different ones and they do not allow volume control. It seems you have to buy, the rather expense Apple earpieces. Now, even after resetting the volume and setting it at the highest level on my PC, it's still not loud enough. I just don't feel like dishing out $20 to $25 for new earpieces everytime they fritz out on me. I'll get something else.
I bought this for my husband for his workouts but you can only control it with the stupid headphones! The sound is okay, better than most in-ear headphones but only slightly more comfortable, however they do not like sweat. At all; halfway through his workout the controls no longer work. Technically, you *can* use other headphones but you won't be able to control the volume or skip ahead/back songs (the power is the only thing on the device itself). Plus I'm used to my Nano and iPhone, so I hate how different it works with iTunes.
