We purchased 2 of these ipods for each of our boys. Not only is the product every bit what we expected and more, the colors are so current. The kids love the design, slim and easy to manage. The uploads are very quick and Apple provides an incredible amount of kid friendly apps that are free or very reasonably priced. I would recommend this model to a friend.
Once I began looking in to getting an IPOD Touch for my daughter's birthday I was glad I took the time to read about the 16GB IPOD Touch that cost considerably less. The 16GB doesn't have the camera like the 32GB does and there are other features missing as well. My daughter is absolutely delighted with it!. She uses it in her FORD MUSTANG and loves it!!! The graphics on it are much better than on her phone and she enjoys the speed at which apps load and gaming with no lag.
Wanted a white, but blue was second choice and I think she likes it better..... great little product, replacing and old IPod Nano that's about 10 years old or so... maybe older.. but it is easy to set up, she can hook it up to her car stereo and play her tunes,.... and she can do other things without having to pay for a phone fee... all in all, it was a perfect purchase for a birthday gift... Plus , Walmart is a great place to shop whether it be online or in the store... I bought this online, and on the way home from work, I picked it up in their ship to store dept... total time between ordering and picking up was less than two hours...
My daughters ipod 4 generation died(cracked screen) and thank goodness we bought the accidental protection plan. She had to up grade and we went with the 32 GB as the less expensive lower GB has no forward facing camera (good for selfies only ),she is quite pleased with it and LOVES Seri she has helped her a lot search out items needed for the 5th gen as her dock and case will not fit this ipod. Great color selections my daughter picked the yellow which is like an acid green. I would recommend the more expensive as it eliminates the need for a separate camera to take photos
Bought two of these iPods w/accessories kits. Loved them. They have the back camera, which is huge! Aside from needing to transfer pics/vids/info.from their old ones the new ones, they are impressive. Old ones were 8GB, 3rd gen, and over 2 yrs. old, so boys really love the new ones - even though older ones still are working just fine! Immediately ordered 2 protective cases also ~ Griffin Survivor gen 5 - as the iPods are slim, light and and possibly easier to drop(!!), they are always much safer in a case! ~ :) All considered, they were purchases well worth the money --- I checked used, refurbished, new, online, in stores:: with people, at businesses, etc., etc. This was truly the best buy at the time for a new 5th gen iPod - and it came with a 10-piece accesoriy kit.... :) Also - having to buy for TWO, I really had to check this expensive purchase out extensively!! Lol! Enjoy, no matter what you choose!! ~~~ :) ~ <3
This ipod is wonderful I ordered mine in pink and I just love it. I originally bought this because I had nothing to listen to music on and I wanted to try apple products. Not only am I able to listen to music I can multitask and keep track of my email and social media. The cameras on the ipod are really great and have good quality. The photo attached is one that I took with the ipod and put on Instagram. When I first turned it on I updated to ios7 and that is amazing in itself Siri and the voice recording software is pretty accurate and the commands are easy to use. And finally the wrist strap. I am a clumsy person and tend to drop things a lot and the wrist strap gives me the feeling that my ipod is safe. So far I haven't dropped it but I'm sure if I did my strap would catch it. This is a little piece of genius. It does everything! Love all the apps, the camera and the capability to make phone calls with Skype. I have a cell phone with 250 minutes and unlimited texting, but for $2.99 a month, I can call anyone when I have wifi! Saves my minutes for incoming calls when I am out and about. The camera takes really good images and I can send them right to Facebook, if I want, or send them in an email. Yes my purse is heavy, but I wouldn't be without my phone, and my iPod. Please protect your iPod with a good 3 part cover and a screen protector. I recommend the Pandamimi ULAK Hybrid 3 layer hard case cover with silicone soft shell. I got my iPod in blue and it came with a handy little wrist strap. My cover matches perfectly! I almost forgot… I use my Chromecast to watch Netflix by way of my iPod. I love technology!!!
I wanted the iPod Touch 5 so I could listen to music while I walk and go to the gym! I was looking for an instruction manual until I realized I could go online for help in setting it up; I am a Senior citizen! I shopped around and Walmart online had the best price, and the accessory kit that was offered was at a great price as well! It did not have a protective cover to peel off the screen, which surprised me! I am still in the process of setting it up, but I can't wait to use it while I walk and exercise! The youngsters will have no problems setting it up! I am so excited to download my music and take it with me on my daily walks!! My one suggestion would be to have a small instruction manual explaining what is in the package, for us oldsters; I threw away a little piece of cardboard that my son-in-law told me was to help in applying a screen saver! Thank you Walmart, You Rock!!
This was a gift for my son at Christmas. He loves it. The quality is just what we wanted. All the apps on the IPod are very up to date. He hasn't put it down since he received it. Thank you for the quick delivery too! It arrived in plenty of time to wrap for a gift at Christmas.
I purchased an IPod Touch last year for one of my daughters last year at Best Buy and paid well over $400. I purchased one for my other daughter on line with Walmart.com recently. The Geek Squad contract from Best Buy I just renewed was $25 for the next year whereas I purchased a service contract with Walmart.com and it is $31 for two years, and from what I see covers even more. The device was less expensive as well. My only complaint is I bought an accessory bundle that had a small speaker included. It was a neat little device that opened "accordion"-like and had different colored LED lights. When I ordered, it was listed as $15.99 but I was charged $18.99 for some reason. The other problem was the speaker broke in half the second day so I lost out there I guess. But so far I am satisfied with the IPod itself and it only took four or five days to arrive. Shipping was free which was a plus.
