Both my husband and I bought the 5th generation I pods as gifts for each other-we love them. The camera function is amazing and we are having fun with the face time app instead of using our phones. There is so much you can do on this IPod and all in the palm of your hand!
I never did fill up my 32G, So this will be a challenge. Lighter than the 4th gen, but pretty much works the same EXCEPT this one has Siri. Siri is useful. All I do is ask her to display what I need to look up, play music, or to set an alarm. But Siri is quite humorous when a human asks her silly questions. Very amusing. My 32G held 500 songs, 8 audiobooks, 294 apps, and a couple of full length movies and various short videos, and I still had over 7 gigs of storage left. This one ought to be fun while trying to fill it! The lighter weight has taken getting used to, but I have adapted. But my old ipod had a wardrobe of cases and accessories, and I couldn't use any of them. Only the AC adaptor, which accepts a usb cord. My new Ipod already has two cases, extra sync cord and charger. Take the plunge and upgrade to the 64 gig. If you've never owned one, you might like a16 or 32 gig. If you go that route, save your original packaging, as resale values on Ipods are good. If you already have any iphone, you don't need an Ipod touch... get an ipad or mac laptop. But if you want a small "computer", this is great. Some may tell you that you must buy apps. But honestly, Itunes offers a free app of the day, and many others for free.. the best offering I have ever seen, in fact. If you decide to go with this model, or one with less gigs, you won't be disappointed. These units are little wonders!
Does everything that iphone does except make a phone call. It is a great value, and the battery life is very long on it. It is compact, easy to use, and absolutely fun!
My son's special birthday present. He absolutely loves it. That's Apple for making my Autistic 11 year extremely happy. The Best Mom Ever (those are his words) Lol
So excited that this Ipod touch does so many things that I didn't even know it did. And, in addition to everything I love about it, the volume is louder than my previous ipod, which was always a bother to me.
My ex-wife bought my daughter an iPad, which is what I would prefer to use. However, this is my daughter's 3rd iPod. I know she wants an iPhone, but I can't understand why she uses the iPod, when she has the bigger iPad? I like the device, but i think it's too expensive and small.
Came very quickly (I guess I was close to the shipping site). Really only complaint is that Walmart doesn't tell you exactly what's coming /with/ the item. I bought the second bundle not knowing. It gives you a matching wristlet & the correct charging wire.
This ipod is great!!! nice resolution and design!!! I highly recommend it!! Thank you walmart for the great value!!
A bit disappointed that I cannot drag (from external drive) and drop my music into folders I have created (pop, soul, Christmas etc.) on the IPod. I went to youtube and tried their instructions but the music still went into the Music folder on the IPod and not into the individual folders I wanted. I am still working on getting my music where I want it.
I saw this deal on Walmart.com for an ipod and accessory kit. It was a great bargain and really would have been worth the money. I received both items on the expected delivery date. Unfortunately I noticed right off the bat that the Ipod had surprisingly bad battery life. I would unplug it from my charger, use it for Shazam for perhaps an hour, and then set it down with 70%. By the next day it would be dead. Same thing for another day; I unplugged it from the charger, didn't even use it, and pick it up two days later and it would be dead. This is really rare for apple products since I have owned quite a few and they usually have great life. Last night I went to charge the ipod yet again and nothing happened. It would not turn on at all. I'm unsure if it was damaged to begin with from apple, or if this one is on walmart. Either way, I returned it, and am going to Bestbuy since it is only $5 more.
