This Arctic King goes way over my expectations! I have used it for a week for at least 8 hours a day and have not had to drain it yet. House is open & cool at night and Arctic keeps it 75 inside 8-10 hours a day. Yes My friends are now buying this exact unit and I am very happy with this product.
This is a great price, and a great air conditioner. I,all admit I was skeptical and wish they had given more info. To inform others it is bucket less and the remote is wonderfully handy, it took about 2 hours to set it up. Although I got frustrated because my MS was acting up did to much so after an hour and half I went to bed and following day took not even 30 minutes. So 2 hours total. My room is like 10 by 11 or 11 by 12 I had ac on all of 15 minutes and was cold even as I came down hall. My room was 81 when started and 15 min later was72. It has auto, ac,dehumidifier, and fan settings. The fan has 3 settings. So sometimes looks can be deceiving. Am so happy I bought this one!!!
From box to assembled only took about 30 to 45 minutes. Works excellent. Glad I purchased it. Great buy.
I was skeptical about this unit because I had never heard of the company, but I can assure you that this unit does an amazing job of cooling small areas. We bought this unit to keep 2 rooms cool and that's all we expected. We were surprised to find out that it would keep them freezing. We haven't had a super hot day here in Japan yet, but the temperature has been in the 80s and it has been keeping it freezing in our rooms. I would definitely recommend this unit to anyone.
Our room sits above the garage and gets really hot. The a/c gets the room to a decent temp, to almost 75 degrees. The downside is that it creates a lot of water. We had the hose draining into a bucket, and would have to wake up ansand change it every few hours.
