Great replacement blade for my snapper mower. Will order again when needed.
The blade cuts well but it did take some modifying to fit correctly on my mower.
The screw slots are too narrow for our Honda mower's bolts/hardware. We were not able to install the blades. We had to sharpen the existing blades on the mower and put them back on. For this reason, I would not consider the blades universal. Other than that, the washers and instructions included with the blade seemed like a good replacement option if they were the right fit.

I'm sorry I didn't see these reviews before purchasing. The label on the blade specifically names Lawn Boy as one of the mowers it fits. This blade definitely does not fit my 2009 Lawn Boy mower. You could probably cobble something together with the washers and inserts that are included that would allow you to attach it to the mower, but I wouldn't feel safe using it. On top of that, the grind on the cutting edges of the blade is terrible. One side has a huge burr on the ground surface. Both sides are either not ground to the point of being sharp, or have some much paint applied that they appear to be dull. This thing looks like it would probably tear the grass rather than cutting it. My old 14 year old blade is far better. I put it back on.
The original Lawn-Boy blade is curved whereas this "Universal" blade is flat and doesn't match the curved brackets on both side of the blade. I wish I hadn't purchased this replacement blade.
