instructions well displayed, when together easy, but is a two person job. if you have put one before, it will take a day, if not two days and concrete floor 3 days. only down side was the extra $ center floor support should of been included.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When you're done with it, it's a really nice shed. Looks good, finishes out nice. Instructions are decent. IKEA would be embarrassed by the number of fasteners included in the package-there are literally hundreds of screws, nuts, bolts, and washers. There are some steps that will require another person to finish-don't try to do this entire job by yourself. You can do 90% of it on your own, but a few steps take a second set of hands. Building it on a flat surface is important, but not a deal-killer-you really need to have all the pre-drilled holes line up, and they did for me while building on a slight angle front to back. Took me about 6 hours to build, but I wasn't in a rush. Comes in one big and heavy box-moving it is a two person job. Props to Jet and Fedex Ground for getting it to me the day after I ordered it-that was a nice surprise.
This shed was perfect for our small yard. My husband and I put it together in about 5 hours. We found it fairly easy to put together. I think it would be difficult for one person to do alone. It looks nice and holds all of our garden tools.
Take your time, don't expect to complete it in one day. 2 men 16hrs work time. This shed is great value for what is offered.
You WILL need at least 2 people to put this up. It is a great fit for my yard considering I do not have too many tools. Buyer BeWARE!! 1- Buy this item on SALE (Get it is as CHEAP AS POSSIBLE) 2- It does not come with a floor 3-It is thin and flimsy The directions are just that directions. Once you get started look to see what pieces are for what and decide on what is easiest for you. We put the whole roof together on the ground and lifted it into place. It is a nice shed once assembled. I paid 213.00 for mine. It is worth it. Clear a whole say for assembling it you will need it. Also use a corded drill for fast screwing and assembling. OVERALL YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR...
Before we bought it we learned a lot about this shed from other reviews. It was very helpful. I can add a few things. This shed comes without the floor, so we bought 35 concrete stones each 12"x12". We put them on the grass (5x7 stones) and anchored shed with 1/4" concrete screws and drill bit which goes with it. They have these screws and drill bit in Lowes in one section. Shed has already holes for this kind of anchoring. We used normal drill, it worked just fine. The instructions are confusing. It adds an extra hour to building process trying to figure out what to do. You must have an experience in assembling, don't buy it if you are a newbie. You will need a second pair of hands once in a while to help you hold things and push wall from the other side when you are screwing. I believe the 12 year old will do. If you don't have an electric screwdriver go get it. This thing has hundreds screws! I pay for this shed $225. I think it was a good price but I wouldn't pay more. If you have a choice to buy a bigger shed, don't hesitate, you won't regret it.
My boyfriend and I put this together in about four hours with little to no complications. Had everything moved into it the following day, was about to fit two shelves, garden tools, lawn mower and weed eater. We just wanted to get the yard thing out of the garage so it could be used for the winter and the motorcycle shop and this worked wonders!
The instructions warn you that it will take several hours to complete, and they're not kidding. It took about 10 hrs. to assemble, but once you get the main braces up, you can break it up some ( I was stubborn and plowed through in one day). Also, recruit at least 1 friend/spouse/offspring to help. Although time-consuming, it was rather easy to put together and the parts all lined up and fit together well. I suggest charging up your cordless screwdriver. Also, wear good-quality leather gloves, because the sheet metal will cut you up. The overall quality is good and the build is sturdy. The only issue I see is that the sliding doors are hard to open and close, but I'm going to try making adjustments to the sliders to see if that helps. Also, the instructions are a bit obtuse, and a couple of times I had to go back and redo things in a different order than what the instructions said, in order to put it together easier.
Ordered 5×6got 5.5×4.5 outside trim, inside measurements take a 1.5 inches off. Delivery man put it opposite side of house to heavy for me to pick up and take to driveway. But it's cute great for garden equipment
