Needed a mount that was longer than normal due to a drop ceiling. Also wanted / needed a mount that would allow you to turn the projector to use on 3 different walls depending on how we wanted to set up the room, without a whole lot of messing around. This mount essentially gives you 3 axis's to move the projector "lens" up/down side to side and 360 swivel plus easy raising and lowering. If you wanted you could also just swing the pole mount. If you need the versatility, this is worth the few extra dollars Note: if you want to move / swivel routinely we found by adding nylon washers at the pivot points makes it a lot easier, and they can be purchased at the hardware store or big box store for a couple dollars hope this helps

We ordered this to add a second projector in our sanctuary to project on the back wall for the people on stage. It installed easily and was exactly what we expected.
This ceiling mount is excellent. Easy to follow instructions includes everything needed including tools for installation, it was a little difficult feeding the wires down the tube but worth the time. I would recommend this mount to anyone, it covers every type of installation a person could want. Thanks for a Great Product! JRL
Good product for the price. The long extension & pricing are the deciding factors for me. I would recommend this product.
It is a good product
The mount was well packaged, all parts were marked very clearly. The mount is very flexible, allowing for anywhere between 0 and 90 degree mounting angle. Not sure why the manual states only a 45 degree max angle, mine is at a full 90 degrees (hanging from a floor joist) with no issues. Bolts and nuts supplied are plentiful and sized perfectly. The projector mounting arms were too short for my projector (Epson 8350) and I had to supplement from another mount to get longer arms. This would have been a critical issue if I didn;t happen to have another mount's parts to steal from. The biggest issue I have is that the mount does not lock in yaw, it spins on the mount. pitch and roll are adjustable, but adjusting it is frustrating because it spins whenever you touch it to adjust the projector. Also, there is a lot of "play" in the quick disconnect, making fine adjustments very difficult.
Product was well thought out, however, the mounting bolts on the projector mount were so tight I had to cut the mounting plate to get them out. Needs better quality control at factory.
