This has been a great coat for my son. It is light-weight, yet very warm. It zips easy and has extra material at the top to keep their neck from getting pinched. It was easy to find hats, boots, and gloves to go with the blue and orange color of the coat too. The price was great. And it's held up with him playing football, soccer, sledding, and snowboarding with no rips.
Great value, very warm, and my son immediately decided it's a cool-looking jacket (5 yrs. old and already very picky about his clothing). Sizing seems to run a bit large as a pervious reviewer noted.
I purchased this jacket for my grandson. I was very pleased how it looked on him....he says that it keeps him warm. The only thing that I did not like was the size ...It could have been a little larger...only I could not go to the next size because it would have been too big. Overall I really like it and would definitely recommend it to family and friends.
What a great way to shop. I purchased coats for my grandchildren on line and had them sent to the store near her home. The coats were great and the covenience wonderful. My daughter loved the coats.
At 1st I wasnt going to make buy this jacket cause I thought it would be thin but it's not. It's very warm and my son wears it in the snow if they had a black one I'd but it!
I bought htis coat while doing school uniiform shopping and thought for twenty dollars it can't be very warm but what the heck;wrong wrong completely wrong! This coat is very very comparable to the high end brands of a coat made by designers and such. I am so glad I made that purchase in the heat of the summer and the moment! My five year old is snug and warm on chilly school mornings! There is still lots of room for layering and it wipes clean with baby wipes in between washings (it hasn't been washed yet).Do not underestimate this coat for twenty dollars!!Trust I know..I used pay designer prices and you can't tell the difference on this one and a designer coat!
I needed a between coat for my son and I did not want to spend a lot of money since he has a good heavy coat already. This coat fits perfect, it is a little light, but that is okay because it leaves room to put a sweater under it. The Fleece inside is a plus. I say it is a hit and for the price you can not go wrong. Oh there is a pocket directly in the back of the coat, which I think is neat!!!
The coat is ok. It keeps the kids warm. The zipper comes undone from the bottom often. There is something obviously wrong with the zipper. Other than that it's a pretty good coat.
The jacket appears to be well made, but the fiber fill in the sleeves is stuffed between the seams. This means there is no insulation between each "puff". If I still lived in OH I would have returned the jacket, but I feel it is fine for south Louisiana's weather.
I am very disappointed with this product we have not even had this product for a month and there is a big hole in the arm pit if the jacket already so this means that I will have to buy another coat for my son. I really think that Wal-mart should refund my money or send my a new coat. I would really like a new coat for my son.
