Serves it's purpose most excellently

I don't use anything on this phone except the Address Book and the other phone call to and from buttons. I don't like to use VM because no one leaves a message these days, only says who calls and I can see that on my phone when it tells me that I have missed a call. I have the 10 cents per minute plan through AT&T and this serves me fine. I don't use the texting, but I know that I can quickly change to that if I need it. I like the streamlined look of this phone. I also like the face of it that displays in a clear graphic way. I definitely need a case for it because I have difficulty hanging on to it. The Qwerty buttons are wonderful and it is so easy to push them without difficulty even though I have severe arthritis in my hands and fingers. In fact, I am going to change my rating from a 4 star to a 5 star because if everything else works as well as what I have been using, then it is a very excellent deal! It is excellent for my purpose, thus it is a 5 star phone to me.

Excellent alternative to smart phone data charges

I had two iphones but didn't need data on the second phone, so by purchasing this phone I eleminated a $20/month data charge. I wanted a phone for basic calls and texting so a good keyboard was essential and this phone has a keyboard with raised keys for easy use without double keying. The sim card that came with the phone is intended for a prepaid account card but I took it by att and they activated it as a second phone on my regular account...It works great for what I needed (calling and texting) and the price just can't be beat. Yhe $5.00 for 2 year warrantee is a no-brainer.

Decent basic phone...

I had this phone before prepaid androids/smart phones were popular (2010), and it's a good little basic texting phone. I never had any issues with it. For a basic phone, it takes decent pics, and does what it's supposed to do. If you're looking for a simple for texting, and reliable basic functionality, this one is it!

Best AT&T Cell Phone for texters w/o Data Plan

AT&T Z432 Cell Phone is a replacement for the latest phone to have an unfortunate end of life. It is good for those that like to text on a regular basis. Display is sharp. Speaker phone function is clear & convenient. Functions much more intuitive than the old Samsung it replaced.

I am quite pleased with the phone itself. It serves my purposes well. I was not pleased with Walmart's delivery of the product however. Time between purchase and receiving it was too long.

Great Basic Phone

Great basic phone for someone who does not need to access the web. I do not want or need web access or an expensive so-called smart phone and the ridiculous high mandatory web access fee it requires, just be able to talk and text. This phone fits the bill. The attached qwerty keyboard is something I wanted for ease of texting. The keys are small and rounded with no contour which makes it easy for my fat fingers to slip and press the next key. This is the only reason I did not give 5 stars, but in reality would give it 4 1/2 stars. If the keys were more like Blackberry's it would be perfect for a simple basic talk & text phone. Since phones like this are almost impossible to come by, I bought 2 so I have a spare. Set up was easy, just swapping the SIM card from my flip phone with contacts transfering with no problem. Pictures and other things stored directly on old phone's internal memory do not transfer though.

Like it but

I like the phone - it is a replacement for one similar that my girlfriends dog munched on and killed. Only problem I am having with it is it's Bluetooth does not want to stay connected to my car, I did buy two of these phones so am trying the other one to see if it does the same thing. If it does I guess I leave Bluetooth turned off, but I like the safety of using the phone through my car - hands free. I bought two BECAUSE I feel eventually we are not going to be able to buy this type of phone. Everything is probably going to be smart phones. I personally don't want or need a smart phone and that is why I like this phone. I can text and phone to me that is all a phone needs. I live in a very rural area so I need a cell phone in case of emergencies. This phone will connect to the internet all though I won't use it for that.

Slow but functional go phone.

This phone does everything I need it to but it is very slow at button response. I got it because I needed a full qwerty phone. Another frustration is I can't do anything else while I listen to music. It just keeps cutting out when I do. For $30 it is worth having if you require a qwerty phone. Also use the help on the browser to have a better speed with the scrolling #2 and #8 and full screen #4. The talk quality and battery life is good and it's nice to have a micro SD card slot for added storage.

i was looking for a texting phone that was NOT a smart phone - hard to find. this was reasonably priced. it works well and has a decent amount of usage options. things i do not like - it does not take great pictures ( i had a similar phone in the past that took much better pics); the numbers are small so it is easy to mis-dial ( i am a woman and i expect this to be harder for a man with larger hands); the way the text messages are received is confusing. i would probably not purchase this phone again. however if you are looking for an inexpensive phone for talking and basic texting, this will work well for you

Ear speaker keeps going out

Two weeks after I bought this phone, the ear speaker went out. I could not hear anything thru the phone even though other callers could hear me just fine. The only way to talk was thru the speakerphone out loud. I returned the phone to exchange for a new one and within one day of receiving the new phone that earphone quit as well. going to get my money back and getting something else. Do not buy! Very frustrating.
