Had to replace the trailer jack for my 18' runabout boat. This new one supports the tongue very well and, I suppose, with two wheels makes it quite easy to move around. Easy installation. Quick delivery. Great value.
This double wheel is the way to go. I have it on an 18' bass boat and in allows me to move it on my driveway quit easily. Its heavy duty and should work well for many years.
Bought to replace a one wheel model. Much more stable and useful.
dual wheels and heavy duty
This jack is much better then expected and was less expensive then lesser capacity jacks elsewhere. This is outstanding and I recommend it.
Fairly easy to install but only time will tell if it will hold up and work the way it is supposed to. I'll review later after we've tried it out a few times.
The Attwood jack is built tough. Actually, much tougher than required for the trailer of my 14' aluminum fishing boat. But, for the price, I chose "overkill" and am not disappointed. The only reason for giving 4 stars rather than 5 stars in overall rating is that the handle that you need to pull to allow the wheels and shaft to swivel up or down is rather small and therefore difficult to get a good full-hand grip on to pull against the retention spring. Fortunately, it does not take excessive strength, but it could be difficult for those without a modest level of grip strength in their fingers. A longer handle would be nice.
The dual wheels make moving boat easy plus a very fair price Insatallation was easy- great product!
Easy to install, fits good on my 20 yr old Shorlander trailer. Will see how it works in the upcoming fishing season
There's a reason this jack is priced at half the cost of a Dutton Lainson--it's half the quality. Jack would barely turn when I got it and I had to use a substantial amount of WD40 just to crank it, even without any weight on it. Also, when extended (which it obviously must be to lift the tongue) the lower section cants at an angle--I presume because of the lack of correct or precision fit. I'm returning this jack and spending the money for a better quality one.
