When diagnosed with Celiac Disease 10 years ago I was trying to find a recipe for Rice bread. I tried everyone I could, including those found in Bette Hagman's books and Gluten Free for Dummies. I had flop after flop. I bought this as a last ditch effort to have something close to bread. It is wonderful, and very easy to make.Thank you Augason Farms!
This kit is amazing. You can either make several small loaves, or 1 big one; hot dog buns, hamburger buns, bread sticks and pizza with this mix. Super easy and tastes great. It is worth the money and you could fool anyone into thinking it is not gluten free. This is 1 of the best gluten free bread mixes I have used.
I'm ready for hurricane season.
very good crusty bread. you cant tell its gluten free. tastes great and easy to make. i made rolls from the dough. 1 can of mix was enough to make 5-6 hamburger size rolls.
This is a great mix to play with. If you enjoy sourdough just leave it on the counter 24-48 hours and watch the magic begin!
I have been gluten free for a few years now, and have used many bread mixes and recipes. Nothing gluten free can look or have texture like the picture on the packaging for this product. That being said? This made a very nice couple of small loaves. I followed directions exactly for one loaf. I added garlic, herbs, butter and parmesan cheese to the top of one loaf and it was perfect with gluten free pasta. The dough rose more than most gluten free breads, and had a nice soft texture. In my opinion the garlic loaf was much better, as the dough itself has a very rice-like flavor. If I buy this again, I would add some salted butter to my dough.
Good crusty bread from my machine. Will try baking on the oven next time.
We just purchased a bread maker & I went online to purchase some bread mix. I love this product.
