The interior of my truck accumulates dust quickly even though I wipe down with a wet cloth daily. I'm allergic to dust. I tried Auto Drive long lasting protectant wipes. An easy to open and re-sealable package, I can keep them in the glovebox to use as needed. Each wipe is 7”x8”. Only needed 2 of them to wipe down all the vinyl interior surfaces: steering wheel, dashboard, cubbies+ interior glove box, interior door vinyl and knobs. (There are 30 wipes in the package) Fragrance : a light hint of what smells like vanilla is the scent. It's a light + not overpowering. I like it. The pre-moistened wipes have just the right amount of product on them and picked up the dust/pollen easily, dried quickly, and left the surfaces clean, dust free and shiny. I've only had to wipe down once since using these a week ago. The dust doesn't seem to “stick” to the interior surfaces as easily as it used to when I was only using water to wipe down. It's almost like I waxed the interior. User tip: after the vinyl has dried, I buff it with a soft cloth to bring out even more shine.
These wipes pack a powerful punch. Nice size and goes a long way. I cleaned my whole interior with two wipes and everything look fresh and clean. They also have a pleasant smell and didn't leave my hands feeling greasy like other wipes. Just read the notes that cannot be use on certain areas. I will clean hubby's truck next. I would be a return buyer. The packet is resealable which is an added plus.
Not too thick, not too thin, just right. Pleasant smell. Good texture for cleaning. Made the car smell nice & some parts of the inside look almost like new. Used them on front vinyl bumper outside also. Got the grime off in some places where it been hard to clean. The protective lightweight coating it leaves behind seems to repel dust in most places. Used on dashboard, inside of doors, assorted plastic & rubber & metal areas, door jambs where the 2 parts meet when they close, inside chrome door handles, console area, cup holders, & steering wheel. (Husband didn't open package for me with the reclosable flap, but he tore it open for me from the top. So it's gotta go in a zip lock bag now. However, the convenient reclosable flap is a very nice feature that I like a lot.) Hoping they come in a bigger package as an option.
The Auto Drive Protectant Wipes are fantastic for protecting your dash and any other areas that may get hit with sun light. The sun will deteriorate your dash, upholstery and anything else that may get direct sunlight. The wipes have UV protection that create a barrier against the harmful sun rays that break down the plastic and covering in your car. They work great and if this is what you are looking for, you just found it.
My car get dirty fast since the wind blows dirt thru open windows. I was glad the sheets were a good size though i still needed 3 just to do the 2 front doors and driver/passenger side up front. The sheets clean well and leave a pleasant scent, like vanilla. Leaves a nice shine behind as long as you use them in cooler temperatures. I used it during 80 degree Temps and still had some shine, though cooler temperatures recommended. The package has a pull top like many wet wipe packages and they stay shut unlike others I've purchased. Due to living in hot climate I wouldn't leave an open package in car very long cause they might dry out faster than normal. Overall I really like these wipes. They performed well did as expected. Highly recommend purchasing these to keep you cars interior and exterior plastic parts clean, protected and looking brand new.
These are quite useful, better than hunting up a rag to use, and look at my photos, they do get the grunge off the vehicle plastic parts. Don't make the mistake I did by cutting off the top of the package, there is a peel off label on the front, then you can pull them out one by one.
I used this product to clean the interior door plastics and dashboard. I feel like over time the dirty really makes these areas look dull and these Autodrive wipes help bring everything back to life. These wipes really makes the black plastics pop and stand out. Pros: I found the package to be handy and not bulky to cart around (like a canister can be). It was easy to remove the wipe, with no tearing or getting stuck. These wipes left no lint behind, which was a pleasant surprise. They also left a nice shine to my 14 year old vehicle's dash and the fragrance is wonderful! A week later and the car (and truck) both still look good. Cons: Truthfully, the only con I can think of is that they seem to dry out pretty fast during use.
These car wipes are made in the U.S.A. Perfect for a quick interior refresh. I usually go to the five dollar quickie car wash and then shake out my car mats and use one of these wipes for the interior (dashboard; steering wheel; console etc.); and my car has that nice clean detailed look. The wipes are a good size (7 inches by 8 inches) and have a clean fragrance. The plastic storage pouch has an adhesive to reseal and keep the unused wipes from drying out. They serve a dual purpose of keeping your car interior clean and protecting against harmful rays of the sun. These wipes are a very good value and I would recommend you try them.
I dont usually go for disposable wipes like this because they aren't environmentally friendly, but these are definitely convenient. I used them on all of the hard surfaces in my car and everything seemed fine. I didn't have many tough stains, but they definitely cut through normal dirt and dust. The package is resealable but I'm sure how moist they will stay. Overall I would recommend for having on hand for quick touch ups in the car.
Upon opening, you'll immediately notice the smell. Not bad, a light, neutral pleasant smell. I first tried these wipes on the passenger side dashboard. The first impression, too slick and shiny, looked wet, too wet. I waited several minutes in hopes it would dry, the dash stayed wet looking. The thing I did like about these wipes is that they didn't leave any streak, it laid down an even 'wet' look. The second try was on motorcycle side hard bags, same thing. Looked as if you wiped them with oil. After doing both bags I decided to wipe off the protectant with a clean but old towel. That's when I liked the results. Big difference on how much less wet and slick the bags looked, they now looked clean and new. I then used the towel on my dash and was happy with the results. The instructions should tell you to wipe, wait a few minutes then wipe off with a soft towel. Turned out to be a night and day difference. There are a lot of warnings on the package; " Use only as directed. Do not use on Plexiglass? or clear plastic (such as vehicle instrument panel). Do not use on floors, vehicle controls or other areas where a slippery surface may be hazardous. Do not use on fabric, glass or painted surfaces. Not for personal care.Keep out of Reach of Children." Cancer and Reproductive Harm Prop. 65 Warning. After using these wipes and following up with a dry towel wipe, I'm actually liking the product.
