I love the way Avalon Organics works for me and my scalp and hair. I use the Tea Tree shampoo and conditioner to help keep my hair from getting dry and frizzy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shampoo has surprised me, it leaves my hair soft and I love the smell, I have always had problems finding a shampoo that does not dry out my hair and this has been the one that has not left it that way, I also had problems with dandruff and also I help, I definitely recommend it if you have problems like me, another thing, its packaging is the most beautiful and super easy to grip I love it
Really superior shampoo and truly helps calm down itchy scalp. I have tried so many other shampoos and this finally helped! Beautiful aroma and not too perfume or overwhelming, just a nice clean scent.
I've been using this for about 6 Months now and I really like it. Hair feels very clean after washing and refreshed. I had a problem with itchy scalp and this solved it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is good Shampoo, although I feel it doesn't give enough lather to spread out , we need to use shampoo in good to over quantity to have good lather . Hair does feel clean and refreshed, which is the main point . I also feel smell is not that strong, which works for few people . Overall I would say , you can give it a try and see if it suits as per your need .
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will say I cannot give a full review as I didn't get the matching conditioner so I cannot say how it works with the matching set. But overall this shampoo lathers okay.. it doesn't lather as well as what your used too, but not as poor as some higher expensive brands out there that you have to wash twice, but I do anyways. It doesn't lather well because it think it's like “too” clean. It's best comparison for me is like washing your hair with dish soap - it's too waxy and squeaky clean which I am not sure if I want for my hair?? Makes it feel clean but now I feel like I am stripping it. I can say I have more Time to go to see how it works, but I also like I said don't have the conditioner to get the full benefit. But it worries me that I'm just pulling all my hair out when it just gets more tangled. I have super super fine straight hair and I'm trying not to lose any!! I got the tea tree because I have a dry scalp with bumps that I just pick at, my hair is very dull and limp and I was hoping this would help. Only thing I've noticed is more hair falling out, I haven't gotten to style it much due to the Texas heat it just goes straight up. But I think it might give a tad volume! So far I am just not loving the consistency of the shampoo itself. So I won't come back for this.
It was one of the best shampoo a year ago, now horribly gone bad. I am sure the product it self destroyed addition to new logo. Perfect example of how to spoil the perfect product. It waters down and never gets feel of shampooing at all. Generally never see any foam as well. I am not getting the feel of my hair protection any more which I had a year ago. I am getting a sense of it is damaging the hair. Stay away from it.
This shampoo does not lather enough to spread around your whole head unless you use gobs of it (10+ pumps) and so it's very difficult to get a clean scalp. At the same time, any hair it does reach, it strips and dries out badly ...

Disappointed to receive this package and realize that it is no longer sulfate free. This shampoo was never particularly good, but I used it (and paid a premium) because it was sulfate free. If you are going to use shampoo with sulfates there are tons of shampoos that work better and cost less.
