I have chemically-straightened African hair. After reading reviews, I ordered this product. WOW! I'm a product junky and have been searching for something that will save my ends. It nourishes and moisturizes. You only have to use two drops (as instructed). I have difficulty with keeping growth because my ends get so dry, so I'm constantly having to get my hair cut. I've been using dry remedy for 8 months and have grown my hair (healthy) more than 3 inches. I am almost done with my first bottle and have ordered more. I have naturally curly hair, and it can tend to get frizzy and a little dry, especially if I tease it out for full volume. I never knew how to combat this, until the girls at the Aveda Salon recommended "Dry Remedy". It's my favorite Aveda purchase to date. Not only is it subtly fragrant and earthy, it feels luxurious in your hands, and most importantly feels and looks great in your hair. "Dry Remedy" adds life and shine to my curls, and I feel great using it because my curls are shiny and healthy without any chemicals. I wish it came in a 16 oz bottle, I use it that much!
I tried a sample of Dry Remedy Oil with a recent purchase, and am totally in love. It adds shine and smoothes without any extra weight or residue. People have told me how much shinier and healthier my hair looks. I'm purchasing now, and will continue. GREAT product!
My hair is thick extra dry and coarse. I just add a few drops,rub between my hands,and run my hands through my hair. Style and perfection! Hair is smooth,soft, and shinny! Added bonus smells great too!
I've been using Dry Remedy since it first came out on my natural curly hair regularly. Then one day my cat Darla was on the bathroom counter when I finished using the Dry Remedy oil on my hair. I had some still on my hands so I rubbed my hands all over her fur. She loved the smell and it actually improved the condition of her fur. She now gets a bit of dry remedy on her fur at least once a week. For a 11 year old cat she looks even younger!
I've been using this oil about a year now, initially just when I washed my hair, I applied it after towel drying. Lately, my hair has been feeling even drier so I experimented - started dabbing a few drops on my dry hair the morning after while getting ready for the day. I am really impressed with my new regime. The oil is so light and absorbed well that it doesn't leave heaviness or greasiness. I can apply it daily! I feel that this oil has improved my hairs hydration and texture as I have been highlighting it continuously for about 20 years! Also as I am 37, my skin and hair require a little extra, better quality product with natural ingredients. Aveda uses natural ingredients from around the world and researches best application techniques to maximize product results!
So, I recently permed my fine, straight hair but I didn't like the way it felt when my salon used other products that left it feeling a bit stiff. I had used the Dry Remedy Oil before on my fine, straight hair and loved how smooth it felt, so I figured why not try it on my new curls. OH MY GOODNESS, they're beautiful! This oil keeps your curls in place, makes them shiny, and leaves them soft and in place all day! I'm going to buy another one to keep in my purse as a backup. Truly a miracle product for my hair, and thank you!!

Adds shine and helps with my naturally curly hair. I absolutely love the scent and this bottle lasts a long time; I only use a small amount on my ends.
I've never liked to use hair oil on my hair as it would just make my hair look greasy. Dry Remedy oil is very different, I use just a few drops on my hair after using the blow dryer and it leaves my hair so soft with just the right amount of shine. Because you use just a few drops, a bottle will last for at least 6+ months. I'll never use any other hair oil again.
