I bought this last week just for the heck of it since I have tried many other eye creams without having results I would like..(I even tried more expensive stuff like Teaminine and it did not work for me). After two days of using this product I have noticed the bags under my eyes are less pronounced and the dark circles are noticeably improved...which is exciting!
I have been using this product for years and have seen great improvements in texture suppleness and lines under my eyes. I was concerned because I do have sensitive skin and allergic to mushrooms, but it worked great on me. Due for another stock run! I am all out!
I'm 67 and live in a dry climate. This is the best eye cream I've used so far. It absorbs quickly, moisturizes sufficiently, and does not irritate my hyper-sensitive skin. Best of all, it is not greasy like so many other eye creams I've tried that left my eyes puffy in the morning and made my eye makeup smear during the day. After just a couple of weeks, my eyes look so much younger naturally. Love this product ... and this entire Positively Ageless line! Thanks Aveeno!
My dermatologist recommended Aveeno moisturizers 8 years ago. I really like the products so I decided to try this one. I am 54 years old and lower brow area seemed to be puffy/sagging quite a bit. It has been 3 weeks and I really notice a difference. The puffiness/sagging is dramatically less.
Can you either add a cream base eye cream for the day or change this back to a cream base. Using this since it came out and the last time i bought it they changed it to a serum. The bottle still says "eye cream" but it was actually changed to a serum. I am thinking it might absorb better in the skin, but it does not work well with makeup or even without makeup. It peels . I am not able to use the serum with my under eye concealer at all. So now i am researching new eye products to try . I use all things aveeno so not happy that have to now try to find something else since i have such sensitive skin and never had any issues with aveeno.
I have been using this product for several years and really liked it. Even suggested it to friends. The last bottle I bought, apparently, was a new formula. It was a disaster. It resulted in puffy, swollen eyes from an allergic reaction. To make matters worse, I was on a trip at the time and the look was not one I wanted to present. I have now found another similar product by a different manufacturer that I am using instead. Bring back the old formula!
I have been using Aveeno products for years. I tried this product thinking it would be a great product. The first day I felt a burning/stinging sensation. I figured it was due to being a new product. The second day the same result. I know the eye is sensitive but this product stings! I'm disappointed!
Went to the store to buy the eye cream but after a lot of time and returns and money, discovered that the eye cream had been changed to a serum. I took the empty product pump to the store and compared... to find out that it WAS the product I was looking for BUT the cream had been changed to a serum. So I had to return the product. It did not work at all the way the old product did...because the old product was a cream that had light reflectors...now the serum does not go on at all like the cream...I already have the night serum which to my surprise looks exactly like the new CREAM??? I thought maybe the manufacture mixed up and put the serum in the cream container. So to try again I went to another store to buy the cream...different looking tube with a brush inside but to my disapointment still a serum. I've been using the eye cream for years.....Please bring it back!!!!
When I've tried this product, it only worked for one day, however, for the next four days, IT CREATED MORE WRINKLES, with UNCOMFORTABLE BURNING, STINGING, and EYE SORENESS, all because of the ALLERGIC REACTION from the THREE ACIDS that were added to this cream ( Which is more like a DRIED UP SERUM, that did adsorb at all. ) I would not recommended this product, to anyone with SENSITIVE EYES.......:((
I bought this product on a whim and have not used it very frequently, as it often leaves a tingling sensation and tends to flake off. I've had the product for six months, and probably have only used it 15 times. I am in my late 20s, and do not tend to have sensitive skin and have no known allergies. I used Positively Ageless Eye Cream the other day when I woke up with some puffy eyes, and within a few hours had extreme redness, progressing to swelling, burning, and intense itching within 6-8 hours. It now looks like I am recovering from two black eyes and had to get a steroid injection to help me deal with the itching so I don't damage my skin further. My upper eyelids look like crumpled up tissue paper. I did not want to believe this was due to this product, as I associate Aveeno with gentle products, but this was the only change in my routine. Aveeno, please consider a formula change so no one else has to go through this. Consumers, if you've experienced tingling, pay attention to the way your skin is reacting and throw the product away. Better to spend the money on a new cream than deal with time lost and a trip to an urgent care.
