Where has this been all my life!? I no longer have to juggle a pot full of hot spaghetti and a colander. I love how easy it is to just drain the water straight from the pot. I have made plenty of meals in it and it cleans up so easily. Nothing sticks! The quality is amazing and the color is beautiful. Will be looking to add more of these pieces to my collection. I am absolutely inlove with this stockpot. First of all the color is exactly the personality of my kitchen and I love the shiny finish it had. Second, the cover is key! I love that it has a lock system that is easy to lock/unlock. I also like the fact that it has a built in strainer which means one less step and one less thing for me to wash. I made a one pot pasta meal with this to test it out and was very much pleased with the results. The pot heated evenly and I didn't have a problem with whatever I was sautéing to get stuck because the surface is non stick. I was looking online and it also says you can use it in the oven. I haven't tried it in the oven yet but will be trying it for thanksgiving. My only negative comment on this amazing pot is the price is a little steep for a budget concious mom like me but I soon realized it's worth every penny and is a must have investment in my kitchen. This is a gorgeous pot. The overall design fits perfectly into my cooking technique. It has many functions. Best part is built in streamer. The non stick design makes it possible to cook a stored of different meals without the hassle of having to scrub afterwards. The color is an amazing teal that makes it easy to spot in the cupboard. This is my new favorite pot! It boils water quickly and washes easily, even with stuff like sauce. It's sturdy and super cute. The lid fits on securely, you don't have to hold it while straining. Love love love it! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I used this casserole for making a stew dish, and it worked perfectly! I was able to make a stew perfectly that's good for 6-8 people. The clean up was easy to do because it's nonstick. I love the the lid has clear glass where I can just check and view my dish while it's covered. Also, the color! How beautiful is the twilight teal color? I love it! I had no idea Ayesha had cookware but I'm so glad because I really love this stockpot. It's made draining liquids a breeze. I've used it to make soups, beans, rice and stove top lasagna with no sticking. Clean up was super easy. I will definitely be purchasing other pots/pans in the collection because the teal color is beautiful and really compliments our kitchen. I recommend you give it a try because you will not be disappointed. The only draw back I found was that the handles get really hot so use pot holders when handling the stockpot. I was so so so excited to get this pot and the straining lid was a super cool addition to a very attractive pot. The pot itself is nice and seems good quality so far, but as for the actual purpose of this...a straining lid... I almost threw it. Literally across the kitchen. I was making mashed potatoes and after boiled my potatoes I was excited to lock the lid, strain them, and mash right there. Not only did I have a very hard time getting the lid to lock, but it got completely stuck once it was locked. It took me over fifteen minutes of trying to turn it, while wearing pot holders since the handles were extremely hot..., And I finally put on a pair of gloves and got it after trying a few more times. I will never lock the lid back. So yes I like the actual pot, but it's purpose is to have the straining lid and it's dysfunctional so I would not recommend it for it's given purpose. I love to cook and bake and so getting this pot I was excited and in time for cold weather which make the pot great for soups and pastas. There are some pros and cons to this Ayesha enamel nonstick straining casserole pot. Pros: I love that it is non stick. No one likes their food stuck on the bottom or sides of the pot. I also love that it has a straining lid. Its perfect for making pastas. It is also big enough to make soups in the cold weather. I absolutely love the color as well. Its an overall good pot. It cooks evenly as well. However, there are some cons as well. A couple to be exact. One is the packaging. It came in an oversized box with no bubble wrap or anything protecting it and just a plastic bag. I think it should have more protection considering it has a glass lid. The other is the locking lid. The lid came bent on the part where it locks. Didn't know and when I tried to lock the lid to strain it scratched the inside if the pot. Down side now when I want to use the straining lid to strain I can't lock it so its pointless. I don't want to keep scratching the pot so I choose not to use the locking lid to strain. Please note, I did receive this Ayesha casserole 5.5 quart pot in exchange for my honest opinion. That being said, my opinions are 100% honest and real. Which is why I gave it 3 stars. It came with defects which is why it scratched the inside of my pot. If it didn't come with defects it would have been a five star. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
