It is the perfect addition to my deck to add a heat source when the weather is cold. Easy to operate, and portable enough to move around for optimum heat distribution.
Exactly as expected.
Excellent addition to my outdoor patio. Matches perfectly. Works fine.
Not a ridiculous amount of heat, but didn't expect it to be. Our front porch is small and this doesn't take up too much space and makes Indiana Winter bearable when we need to be out there for a few minutes.
Use it on glass topped patio table. Item is exactly as described. Assembly instructions not great, but it's simple and intuitive to put together. Works fine, but not so effective if there is a breeze. Probably works best on glass table tops - the glass eventually warms and also radiates some heat. Won't keep you warm in cold weather, but provides a little extra heat to extend these marginal fall evenings on the deck. Found same unit for prices ranging up to $100. Why pay more for same thing?
As other reviewers stated, the instructions left a lot to be desired. Also like other reviewers, I was hoping this little heater put out more heat. I first used it on a 40-something-degree evening, and it wasn't adequate. That being said, I'm hopeful it'll be useful on slightly warmer evenings. It's a decent size, though personally I think it's too big to have ""tabletop"" in the name. I'm not sure if I would recommend this heater just yet.
Tends to eat through propane which is a bit of a negative Overall the item works as promised and is a value purchase
Seems a little complicated to get started. I've since seen others that are much simpler to start.
I was shocked at the difficulty of assembly. The instructions were poor. The little wrench provided for tightening nuts was useless! I used other tools to ease assembly. It took about 60 minutes for me to get the heater put together. Someone with poor eyesight or arthritis would have difficult manipulating the little bits, nuts and washers. If I had to do it again, I would pay someone to put it together. I also cut a finger on the sharp edges of the metal pieces. Once the nightmare of assembly was over, the heater looks quite nice and is solidly built. However, the lighting of the heater is also a problem. I understand how these heaters work as I own several of the large patio heaters. The first time I ussd the heater I was able to light it fairly easily. However, lighting on subsequent uses was a problem. I had to to press the button dozens of times to get the unit lit. It was very frustrating! Once operating, the heat output is lower than I expected. It puts out some heat but not as much as I had hoped. So, if you can get it assembled, if you can get it lit, you will have below average performance on heat output. Still it could be useful and I will keep it, I might return it if it continues to be difficult to light.
When I received the heater it appeared to be repackaged and now it doesn't work!
