Relatively easy to put together, although it does take two people (my 13yr old helped). We have only used it a few times, but so far we are pleased with this product. It creates a comfortable, warm environment outside and the flame inside the glass tube adds to the outside ambience.
This is awesome heater, the only thing we didn't like is the glass tube is 2 pieces, but it works well, and awesome to look at the flame go thru the glass tube.
This is a high end fire tower that sells for 5 times as much on other sites. Heavy duty bronze panels that resist rust for years. This model is easy to light is gorgeous at night. Everyone on the patio becomes a moth, staring into the flame. A steal at this price!
This is a great alternative to the expensive heaters sold by others. Works well and heats the area. Plus it looks nice and is well-made. Putting it together was pretty simple if you follow their directions. Good purchase.
I love this heater so far, however if it's in the open its more for looks than heat. It wasnt to difficult to put together even when we put the base on backwards, removed the screws and made it right. Would love to have a second one some day, this one's on our back deck
Bought 2 of these for my extra large patio area. They look amazing once installed. Have worked well so far. Took off a star as installing it was slightly complicated when doing the first one. Had to use a mallet to get the burner to fit in properly. The second time around, it was easier due to the experience gained. :-) It is a very good buy. The item arrived quickly and after opening the container there were 8 boxes of parts that needed to be assembled. The directions were average, at best, with pieces not well marked and images too small to discern key aspects. The base of the unit is not build to move easily around the patio - and you certainly can not move it while the unit is lighted. The ignitor appears to be unreliable or at least clunky. Once you get the unit built, places, and lighted it works fine. Overall, I would have expected a better quality and experience with this higher than average priced patio heater.
Takes hours to assemble. Faulty pilot light, doesn't put off much heat.
Really disappointing.… first off the instructions were not great. I had to YouTube it for clarity. Secondly I got to the top section and the screws are not long enough to catch the bolts on the top. There are washers fused on preventing the screws from protruding far enough to catch. So now I'm stuck and I've made it too far to return.
Parts came mis-manufactured: Legs were missing threaded inserts to secure the base assembly to the legs. Instructions explicitly say to contact them for assistance and not to proceed if parts are missing. Calling the number in the manual sends you to a Canadian service center (877.483.6759) that will refuse to help you if you are in the states and point you to Walmart. Walmart will ask you to box ALL OF THE PARTS back up and refund or contact the 3rd party reseller and will provide you a phone number. 3rd party reseller (866.639.9320) will say they can't find the order number or the tracking number and ask you to chat with Walmart again. Calling the different phone number on the box (888.755.1330) has you leave a voicemail that has not yet been returned. I have a partially assembled patio heater with other patio heater bits strewn across a 9' x 7' area of my house and no easy way to get it all back into the box for a reasonable return. At this point 3 hours of my life have been wasted on this thing, I'm trying to keep my kids out of a ~63SqFt chunk of my house and my wife is livid. Wish me luck everyone, but I would not wish this experience upon any of you.
