This Play yard is the perfect "pack and go " play yard/pen. Comes packed in a portable carry bag. Instructions for set up are clear and easy to follow. I love the design which is perfect as I find it to be Uni-sexed. The removable bassinette, extends your ability to use for multiple purposes. Good surface area for your little one to explore. Easy wipe down, and easy spill clean up on the surfaces. Portable enough to take on trips to grandmas house, and convenient enough and small enough to set up in our hotel room.
I opened this up to find no paper instructions, but they are located on the changing mat. Set up is pretty easy. It comes out of the box assembled , except the bassinet needs to be zippered into the pen and the mat set in. It took me a few minutes to figure this out, but the center bottom of the pen needs to be pulled all the way up to be able to release the sides of the playpen for on to go toting. After figuring out that issue, I would recommend this for on the go moms and grandmothers who would like an easy set up play yard, changer table, and/or bassinet that is very gender neutral.
I got this for my nephew because he’s now at the age of crawling EVERYWHERE and I’m tired of chasing him down! It’s great! I love the colors and the mesh is soft enough to not scratch up his little face. There’s plenty of room for him to lay down in to take a nap and still have some toys in there with him. He loves standing up and trying to look out and play peek-a-boo. This is perfect to take outside for our family cookouts and even our camping trips. When delivered it comes in a nice heavy duty box for protection and the play yard comes in a portable bag! Definitely buy this one!!
This was a very good buy. Delivery was fast. I don’t really like buying baby gear sight unseen, but for the price I figured it wouldn’t be a big loss. I’ve bought play yards in the past and I had a pretty good idea of what to expect. It was easy to put together. I like that it’s not so bulky. It’s perfect for my living room, for my home office, we even use it whileI’m in the kitchen. I have a bassinet that I bought at a garage sale and since baby still fits in it (he’s 4 mo) I’m using the bassinet as well. If you’re not familiar with play yards, the “mattress” it comes with is very hard and looks and feels uncomfortable. I went ahead and ordered a mattress for it. It won’t be here for another week, but again we’re still using the bassinet so we can do without. I would definitely recommend this. I know there’s other bigger, fancier, and obviously more expensive ones. I’ve had them and for me, this is the way to go. It will be perfect for traveling because it’s small once you break it down.
I love it, it's simple to put together and pull apart for travel, I would recommend purchasing more than one for grandma's house and one for the sitter, that's why I purchased this one, my grand nephew is only months old and the fact that you could raise the floor is a plus. It's easier to change the baby without hurting your back, also I use the bottom space to put his clothes and diapers when he's not here. It has wheels so you could move it from room to room if necessary. You can't go wrong with one of these. Really have to be honest though, if your going to use this in your home and you have other children you have to be watchful that they don't try climbing into it or reaching for the baby who will be in their reach.
We purchased this for when our new granddaughter comes to visit. It is sturdy and easy to assemble. The product comes with a bassinet attachment secured by a zipper and velcro. It comes with its own case. The play yard is smaller than your average pack n go, but that makes it much easier to manage. Highly recommended, especially for the money. My husband is 5' 11”, so you can see the size.
This play yard (or we called it a "packnplay") is super useful! Whether you're traveling with baby or just want somewhere to set her down in another room of your house, it's so nice to have an extra bed. Unpacking: I've had a baby before, so I know my way around a play yard. But if you don't, this can be confusing. It comes in a carrying bag (DO NOT LOSE), and then you've just got these 4 sides and a center. Your instinct is to tackle the center piece first. IGNORE THAT INSTINCT. First you have to lock the sides in - if you do the center first, the sides don't lock. So to lock the sides in, you kind of jiggle/pull up on the side rails until they feel secure. You do that one by one, then you push the center piece into place. Look it up on youtube, they all work generally the same - it's easier if you watch someone else do it. Then you have the "mattress" piece, which you can just lay down in the bottom of this. But if you have an infant who can't roll/climb (and/or you just had a c-section and can't bend), you may want the bassinet feature instead. So at this point you are looking at a weird net/rod/zipper contraption with a hole in the center and wondering what on earth you do with this. You're shaking out the box and wondering why they didn't send instructions. THEY DID. The instructions are attached to the bottom of the "mattress." Slide them out of that pocket (and don't forget to put them back in for the next person). Those will guide you through zipping this bassinet piece on, inserting the 4 rods into each other (2 and 2), and then putting the mattress on top of that support. And voila - you have a bassinet/play yard! Pros: Super simple set-up once you get the hang of it (and find the instructions) This company supports world healthcare The bassinet feature is invaluable - you have no idea if you may have a c-section and be unable to reach into a play yard to get baby. Now you can just roll over and she's right there. Do not lose that carrying bag; it's absolutely essential to ever taking that play yard anywhere. Gender-neutral colors Easy-clean mattress, you just wipe it down Very safe and sturdy Cons: The bassinet part had me confused for AWHILE...but it's still simple once you figure it out. Carrying bag only has the top opening; we used to have one that had a zip-down feature so you could kind of slide it in at an angle. But this isn't that much more difficult, just put it on its side and slide it in. This is a great play yard and so useful when you have a little one!
This came completely put together (except bassinet which you have to connect 2 poles/Velcro pad in place and zip into position when using-which must be undone/redone every time you switch from full to bassinet)! It was extremely easy to zip in bassinet (I had dreaded that thinking it would be harder - it was super easy)! I pucker the cheapest option for a “knock-off pack n play bc I'm using it for a paralyzed dog and figured she would tear them up pretty quick, but so far no holes or tears. (She is a “hefty” chihuahua mix and “rocks” the bassinet part pretty hard when she pulls herself by her front feet- but it's stood up to her abuse for a month already with no signs of wear. Again- extremely easy to break down and move and put back in place - packs back up super easy to Go in carry case/bag. No assembly if you're not using bassinet/raised level. Stands up to pretty forceful pushing/knocking around and dog claws clawing at it. Ordering another for a back up and 2 more for shower gifts for expecting mom's I know. Seriously couldn't ask for better or easier! Just heavy enough to stand still/be sturdy - yet light enough to carry easily. Best of all worlds!
This playard gets the job done as far as keeping my almost 8 months old grandson corralled while I get nearby stuff done…at a reasonable price. But it is a lot smaller than I assumed it would be. I didn't check the measurements. He pulls himself up and the sides only come up to his neck. It won't keep him confined too much longer.
i ordered for my daughter for her first baby and it was so wabbly i felt it was unsafe so Walmart was great about replacing it and got the second one in and there is a bar missing underneath which is a support bar and i am disabled and my daughter doesn't have time to return it so my friend is going to fix a support bar underneath so its safe for my grandson. would not recommend ordering on line. go and look first
