Loved the walker. It is made very well. Easy to put together. Wish they did have on and off for the music tray and volume. And they forgot to put my push bar in package. But I don't mind. Probably wouldn't have used it anyway.
This is a cute adorable baby walker. It's simple to assemble and it needs batteries for the buttons to play musical sounds as the baby to play with the front half of the walker. Walker has beautiful vibrant colors. Baby will have fun sitting in this walker. It seems like baby products have advanced since I had my 2 children in the early 1990's. I recommend buying this baby walker.
I'm really pleased with this baby walker. The music features play several different nursery rhymes and it kept my little one entertained for hours. I'm not sure how many songs there are but it's a lot. My memory is bad for the titles but a few I recognized are Frere Jacques, London Bridge is Falling Down, Yankee Doodle Dandy, and Mary had a Little Lamb. You can play the rhymes from the tray or down below at the feet. The little entertainment area on the tray is awesome. You get a little hammer that the baby can use to tap on three knobs, each knob lights up and makes a different sound effect and then plays a song. Every time you hit one you get a different song. There's also 2 disks that you turn and make cranking sounds. And you can fit shapes on the hammer into the matching holes. The music feature at the feet is 2 big disks so that your little one can stand up holding onto the bar in back and push these disks with their foot to play music. When my one little one that isn't old enough to do that yet was using it, I just walked up behind it and stepped on the disks myself to start the music. Then I got to walk away while he was entertained with the music. The walker seems to be quite sturdy, safe, and of good quality. And it's very nice looking with attractive colors. The tray with the toys and music is easily removable so you can give your little one snacks also. It cleans up easy and folds for storage. This is lightweight and the height is adjustable. The colors are attractive and will work for both a boy and a girl. There's a combo of teal, navy blue, yellow, orange, and gray. The pattern on the seat is feathers. The seat cover is very soft, the cat has also approved it for napping. The label didn't say if it's washable but it appears to be. The label also says it's 100 percent resonated polyester fiber batting. This rolls easily on carpet and hard floors both. It has the grip blocks underneath to reduce movement on uneven surfaces. It is 23 and a half inches wide so it will fit through doorways. It says it will hold up to 26 pounds and up to 37.4 inches. It had to be assembled but it was really easy to do. No tools needed except for the battery compartments which need a Phillips screwdriver. The music tray and the music foot thing both take 2 AA batteries (not included). The box states that the walker is JPMA certified. (Says it measures 23.4 x 20.1 x 26.8 inches). I'm completely satisfied. There actually isn't anything that I don't like about it.
First time hearing of Babideal and this is a good activity walker. It was easy to assemble no tools necessary. Its colorful to stimulate a baby. The walker has removable stoppers for use when the baby is not taking steps yet but able to reach the foot bar that makes music with the patter of their feet. There are lots of things to play with smash and give hours of fun. The edges on the table top and footing are rounded. It has a cushy padded seat. Need 2 batteries.
We love it it has so many options. It will grow with the baby to do so much more than just a walker.
The walker is packaged in a compact box. Assembly was easy. Directions are easy to follow. This walker requires AA batteries and has two modes. It makes MIDI sounds. The buttons are big. My grandson enjoys the hammer! But, mostly he ends up just mouthing the piece! :)
My baby loves this walker. I love the color, detachable toy bar and the music bar. Snack tray becomes very handy when your baby fusses every time you try to put her in a high chair! Needless to mention the ease to put it together, less than 10 min. The only thing I have to point out is when you lift the walker, sometimes the height of the walker is altered and I have to readjust so my baby's feet are on the ground and she can go cruising again.
This Explorer Baby Walker by Babideal seems like a good little trainer to get your child started on the grand experience of walking! The parent company from what I researched is Dorel Juvenile who also makes products from Cosco, Safety 1st and several other brands, all of which are highly regarded in baby products. It has a three position height adjustment so that your child can either reach the floor or the supplied foot tray with their feet. The foot tray would normally be used for a very young child, starting at around six months old, and by stepping on buttons on the foot tray it would start playing music, thus the more the child moved their feet, the more the music would keep playing and would motivate them to start using their legs. Then as the child progressed and grew, you would move the foot tray from directly below their feet to the back of walker and then they would be touching the floor with their feet and start moving the walker. They should always be supervised at this point to avoid stairways, drop offs or anything that might injure. After about 3 years of age or weighing more than 26lbs they should not be using the walker. It seems pretty well constructed and does come with a years' warranty under normal use but it is still just what I consider thin plastic and could be damaged by an older child. The seat seems like it should be comfortable without any pinch points and the front has little gadgets to play with and does also play tunes for your child to be occupied. All in all not bad and the reason for the four star rating is that I consider the plastic frame a little thin.
The Babideal Explorer Music Walker is not assembled. However, the assembly instructions are clear and easy to follow. The illustrations provided help you get the pieces in the right order, too. The Babideal Explorer Music Walker can be adjusted to three different heights which helps as your child grows while learning to walk. The toys are colorful and engaging as the infant scoots the walker along the floor. The walker is ideal for hard surfaced floors but is difficult to move on carpet. The Babideal walker comes with a foot tray that will play music when pressed or it can be completely removed and out of the way. I found that the infant had difficulty using the foot tray even in the middle position because the seat makes the legs tilt forward too much. Overall, the Babideal Explorer Music Walker does what it is designed to do and will be helpful in keeping an infant busy while learning to walk.
Proa: easy to assemble and doesn't require tools. Looks sturdy and baby seems comfortable when sitting in it for short periods. Looks cute and the bright colors are gender neutral. Cons: the cheap plastic cover for the battery is ridiculous. So hard to pry off and pinched my fingers multiple times. It requires two AA batteries for the musical toy on top and two additional batteries for the foot pedals. It does not have an off switch for turning the music off. Nor does it have a volume control. So the entire time your baby is in this thing, it will be blaring music. Every musical toy needs an off switch! Next and maybe most importantly, our house is carpeted and the way the wheels are very small on this, it won't roll on carpet whatsoever. The Walker also came with these thick white bumper blocks that go on the bottom of the Walker to slow it down.? But those are not necessary in our house so I removed them but it still won't roll at all. And we don't have fluffy carpet, it's short and thin. I have seen some Walkers that will roll over then carpet but this one just won't even when I'm pushing it. So in conclusion it is a seat where baby can be vertical, but I don't see baby walking in this. My baby is 10 months old and can stand up and cruise but is not a walker yet. Just for reference, my 10 month old is in the 50th percentile on weight and height and this product seems like a good fit, size wise.
