WONDERFUL

My almost 4-month old granddaughter (born 5/10/10), loves it. We hold her and hold the keyboard in front of her, she gets so excited (her arms and hands try to push keys--needs assist at this time). It is so cute to see 5-yo big sister play with it with her. When friends, with children, come over; the keyboard is very popular with the younger children (ages 8-months to pre-school).

This colorful toy appears to be well built and durable. I plan to give it to my grandson for Christmas who will be 6 mo. old soon. The music is not too loud and it has settings for 3 languages, English, Spanish and French. The keys light up when they are touched and it says the numbers 1-5 or colors of the keys in each of the three languages. I believe the younger a child is, the easier it is for them to learn a new language. Overall I would say it has a very good educational value. I think he will enjoy it very much.

I purchsed this for my daughter's 1st birthday. The size of the buttons are just right for her, and they are easy to push and activate the music, etc. Exactly what I was expecting.

My son & I both love this toy. It has two different volumes, lights, good songs, and allows the child to hear the sounds of different instruments.

We bought this toy initially for a Christmas gift for our 5 month old daughter, but when it got here, we decided to give it to her early. She LOVES this toy. She sits on the floor and plays with it for a good 30 minutes without wanting to play with anything else. I like it because it says numbers as well as plays music, and any time we play music she instantly zones in. If she is cranky, we just hit the music on the piano and she stops and stares at it. I actually bought this product for a friend of mine for her little boy for Christmas because I love it so much.

I bought this for my son when he was 7 months old. He loved listening to the music from the get go. I used to play songs for him, but now he's 9 months old and presses the keys on his own. There's a setting that plays part of a song with every push of a button, and my son plays the songs on his own. He also enjoys the lights and rattle. I perfect purchase and well worth the money. OH, and I;ve dropped it a couple of times too and it still works. Safe to say its durable.

5 Month Old LOVES It!

We bought this for our 5 month old daughter, who loves music and lights. She listens to piano music at naptime and it puts her right to sleep, so I wanted to get her a piano of her own. I didn't want to actually get her a real keyboard because she couldn't play it anyway and I wanted something designed for babies. She loves the lights that flash as the music plays. She also likes the sound effects. She even enjoys playing with the regular piano setting. I think what she loves the most is that she can do this all by herself. The other day, I saw her turn it around and spin the thing on the back and she did this for quite awhile. Anything that keeps her occupied for more than 10 minutes will get a good review from me, and I've seen her enjoy this toy for a half hour before she whines for me to stop cleaning and play with her. If you are thinking about gettting a simple toy to keep your child's attention, this is a great purchase. *(And the price is a plus!!)

My son likes to dance to the programmed music and what ever we can play on this little piano. He doesn't care for the silly sounds option though. He has owned it for about 7-8 months, and it just now is requiring batteries. The keys get sticky (internally) from drool, but I don't think this can be avoided. I don't regret buying this product for my child.

Faulty Switch

This is a great toy, my 7 month old son loves it. But, when we first got it I would switch the volume to high and it would sound like it was a computer overloading. Then when I switched the language button it did the same thing. So I took the whole thing apart, every screw had to be taken out to take it apart, I removed the colorful red and yellow switches and it worked. The red and yellow switch covers were stopping the switch from being fully on or turned off completely. Once I screwed it all back together my son loves it, throws it around, tries to chew on it and it holds up beautifully. But it does look bad now that the pretty switch covers are off and the old black switches are all that's there.
