Like people have said about this set (which comes in many different colors) You can't even get a good crib for $199 these days. After reading the reviews I figured it would be worth it. The set didn't take too long to get here, make sure you have help to unload it (if you're picking it up from the store with Site To Store) I put the dresser together first, it has the most peices, the only thing is that when you put the drawers together dont put the drawer stops on. What you have to do is lay the dresser on its back once it's assembled, THEN put the top drawer in and then screw the drawer stops on it, then put the 2nd drawer in and screw the drawer stops on that, so on and so forth with each drawer. The dresser is a sturdy/heavy piece, I am very happy with it. The changer is decent but I dont like that the top piece that you lay the baby on is particle board.. It makes sense to make the shelves particle board BUT not the top piece that you lay the changing pad on..Just seems a little weird. Other than that I like it, I guess it wont be hard to reiforce that with a piece of wood. Others say that a standard mattress fits too tight and its hard to change sheets, but its a tiny mattress. You can lift it out to change the fitted sheet, it fits snug so that your baby cant slide into the space and get stuck or hurt! Overall I am happy with the quality. The box is just very heavy (170lbs) and my Dad had to bring it in the house and open the box BUT it's easy to put together (I am 6 months pregnant and I put it together myself) This set could sell for more than $199 and still be worth it! It is sturdy, and I'm glad we picked the espresso color. It is beautiful!
I think this product is great. It is very sterdy. I think it will hold up for a long time. I was not expecting such great quality from something that was so cheap. I was very shocked. The Dresser is real wood not that fake wood you usually get for some products like it. The shelfs for the changing table are kinda thin but if you follow the 15lbs max restriction in the instrutions it holds up very well. Great product, it may seem like it is a little on the cheap side but it is a great product.
I never leave reviews for products. However, my husband and I love this entire set. The crib and changer are really simple to set up. The dresser took a bit longer, but it was worth the while. This is a very sturdy set and we plan to use it for all of our children. We can't wait until June for our first born to enjoy it as much as we already do!
I purchased this product and used site to store and I got it very fast. Faster than the date expected. I have not used it with the baby yet because I am still pregnant. It is put together and It is lovely. The finish is great and It looks expensive. I say its great deal for the price. The crib is nice and big, changing table is nice and big and the dresser is a good size. It is easy to put together. The box is very Big and heavy so if you use site to store make sure you have a pick up truck becasuse it cannot fit in any car. Overall it is good for price and color is beautiful so far
We used the site to store option to purchase this 3-1 Nursery Set and it was a great experience. (We live in Canada and went to pick this up this past Saturday and it went really smooth and easy, duty was nothing when compared to what we saved!). The crib was easy enough to put together. The only problem we had was that one of the bolts that holds the mattress frame in position stripped when tightning. I wasn't overly impressed with that, but it comes with 16 bolts in order to adjust the height of the frame, so I didn't lose sleep over it. The change table also needed two people to put together. It went well and I do agree that the top "shelf" where the baby will be changed should be made of thicker wood, but ours came with a reinforcing steel bar that can be attached under this shelf. But the board still has some give to it. I pushed down on the board quite a bit and it didn't give way, so I have no doubt it will be able to hold our baby (coming in July). The dresser was a tedious job, but simple enough as well. The only problem we had with the dresser is that it gave us an extra "L" piece (or the front shelf rail) and was missing the "J" piece (or the back shelf rail). So the dresser is yet to be complete because the right part is being shipped to me (about one week they claim). These things happen however, and thankfully we have time before the baby comes. They seem to be really good about replacing missing or damaged parts. Overall, we're really happy with this set. The price was fantastic and the quality is solid (outside of that top shelf on the change table) and sturdy. We're quite pleased.
I received this product and fell in love with it. If you lookin for something not tooo expansive. Then this the product for you. Very easy to put up. I did mines myself. I would recommend this beuatiful product to yall. My baby girl is born in March just can't wait to see her in it. But one thing I don't like is the price went down. I got it for 230 and now its 199. So jump on it, its worth it;)
I ordered it and within days it arrived! I had the walmart associates load it then i took it home tore the box open because hubby is in iraq. I brought things in piece by piece and assembled it all myself... super easy... baby slept in it that night she enjoyed it also... It looks great not to mention and no one can believe it cost 199.00 + tax = 212.00 please note the dresser was hard to asseble due to stoppers on the drawers ... but i got it done :) heres a pic to show you the crib and dresser
Love this! The color is beautiful! Took a long time to be delivered but was simple to put together with the exception of the dresser stoppers. We put them on but then couldn't get the drawers in...Probably something we messed up. We ended up putting the drawers in and then putting the stoppers back on while it was put together. It was a pain but worked out fine.
The old saying "You get what you pay for" applies here. The three piece set is by far the cheapest I have seen, and with the economy the way it is that was helpful to us. However the quality of the set was lower then I expected. The crib is nice...it is sturdy and will do the job. The changing table is cheap, as we were putting it together I questioned whether or not the slats would hold a baby. It was sturdier once put together but still has less wood than I would have liked. We haven't put together the dresser yet, but it looks smaller than the picture depicts. Overall the set looks really nice and will be OK for us, but as I said that quality was lacking, but a great value.
I like the product for the price, just wish some of it wasn't chip board. The crib is nice and seems to be of good quality wood, but I had no idea that the railing would not come up and down and be adjustable. That is a real bummer. I don't know what I am going to do now, I have short arms. Can't really beat the price for the whole set and it is good enough for a baby.
