this stroller is really awsome my wife loves it. our daughter is 4 and fits just fine...the ride is so smooth it puts her right to sleep.... i recomend this stroller to anyone who is looking for something worth thier money!
After sizing up many-a-stroller in this price range. I decided to go with this one because of its features and accomodations for bigger kids. We are transitioning our son from a snap and go to a stroller that will suit our needs well into toddlerhood. We live out in the country so we needed a stroller that could be more shock absorbing and durable on dirt roads. This stroller did not let us down, it rides very smooth. We did have to invest in some puncture resistant inner tubes though because the factory tubes did not hold up against the goathead I ran over (big surprise). My son is very long for his age of 6 months and he has plenty of room to grow into this stroller. I felt the reclining seat was a must and when my son fell asleep in the stroller I was able to ease the seat back without waking him. Stroller was very easy to set up and is nicely made. All in all a good buy!
Owned a Model 9114 for two years that was stolen last summer. Purchased the Model 9134 and the upgrades are great. The added removable child tray, the canopy visor, added leg room, and the lockable front brake are great improvements. Would recommend this stroller to anyone.
I enjoy the one-time use of it, but it requires an SUV to haul it. I own a 2000 Dodge Intrepid w/a large trunk (large size sedan) and struggles to get it in the lid of the trunk each time. You should be a tall, strong man with strong hands to be able to reach across and push the security button and the fold down button on each side of the stroller. It requires much strenght -- usually takes me 15-20 minuets to fold and the work into trunk of car. Found a bike shop two week later to pump the tires since they were not ready to be used once put together.
WHILE ORDERING THIS JOGGING STROLLER...I READ THAT THE FRONT WHEEL LOCKS AND UNLOCKS, WHICH MADE ME THINK IT HAD A FRONT SWIVAL WHEEL. MY MISTAKE! IT MEANS THE FRONT WHEEL COMES OFF AND ON FOR EASIER STORAGE. I HAD A LARGE TRUCK WITH A TUNNEL COVER AND I STILL HAVE TO TAKE THE WHEEL OFF AND ON TO CLOSE TUNNEL COVER. YOU MUST HAVE A SUV, VAN, OR TRUCK WITH SHELL TO STORE EASY. 38LBS., IT'S A LITTLE HEAVIER THAN I WANTED. WITH THOSE 3 NEGITIVES...THAT'S WHY ONLY 4 STARS. IT'S A GREAT VALUE THOUGH. IT RIDES SMOOTH WITH SUCH EASE OVER RUFF ROADS LIKE DIRT, ROCKS, AND GRASS. PUTS MY 3 MONTH OLD RIGHT TO SLEEP. YOU BARELY HAVE TO PUSH IT EVEN ON A SLIGHT UPHILL GRADE. I LOVE THE CANOPY, IT MOVES BACK/FORTH TO AVOID SUN. NICE THICK CANVAS WITH PEEK-A-BOO WINDOW.
Once the stroller is adjusted properly, it is great to use and a good value. I did have 3 issues with the stoller that possibly need to be re-designed. 1) The hand brake used on this stroller is an inexpensive unit used on many different products. It does not work well in this application. The brake has to be adjusted so close to the thin wheel, that it doesn't leave much lever travel. This also makes it difficult to adjust the brake to fully release and not drag the wheel. I would suggest that the manufacturer leave the brake off or charge more money and install a better brake. 2) The cup holder does not fit a typical water bottle. The cup holder needs to be larger in diameter and deep to prevent bottles from falling out. 3) The frame was not straight out of the box. I adjusted the front wheel as far as it would go and checked other causes for alignment, but it continued to pull hard to the left. I used a pry bar to tweak the front end and now it tracks perfectly straight. (My wife wasn't happy about this, but I know sometimes welded frames can twist.) The positives of this stroller include: price, tether, low drag wheels, tough fabric, sun shade, closable pouch, closable top tray, good looks, and it's easy to fold up and open. I think the positives of this stroller outweigh the negatives. I just want others to know that the stroller may have a few issues. Hope this review was helpful!
I like everything about this stroller except it is horrible to try and turn. Easy to push if you are only going in a straight line! The front wheel does not turn so in order to try and turn around corners etc. you have to tip it on it's back wheels. However, I do like the ease of folding and unfolding it to take in and out of the car. But I would not recommend this product to anyone. I would try the strollers that have the front wheel that can turn.
I use Ship-to-Store service to save the shipping cost. It worked! I was really impressed of the look of the product. It's so easy to setup without help from my husband. The parents tray is a bit difficult to snap in so I ended up asking him to help me on that. The item looks beautiful except it's so heavy to manuever. The stroller kept going off to the left. I did check the tire pressure but it didn't help much. Since it's so heavy so when turning you have to lift the front wheel up to turn. It's not so easy. The foot brake on one side is touching the wheel all the time even you tried to lift it up all the way. It's rubbing and making noise while you're walking. Overall I must say, you get what you paid for. It's not expensive one so I can't expect to be perfect..right?
