We bought a new car seat as we needed a new one but we wanted one that could work with our baby trend stroller too. We contacted with baby trend through emails an they responded the next day an told us the model we could use with our stroller an then showed us the base we could buy to use with the new car seat. We really like baby trend products!

Light weight, triangle handle makes grip easy, already came with straps in, just needed to adjust for tighter or more loose. All snaps, locks and clicks worked easily. Happy with purchase.
It was just as described and it looks even better in person. The adjusting is extremely easy it's a twist bar to raise it up which I didn't expect but that makes my life so much easier. It came with the foot cover already attached. Everything was wrapped up nicely and in good condition. The color is such a beautiful red, I love it! I love the handle how it's a triangle so I can grab it any which way and it's comfortable. It's super lightweight which surprised me cuz based on the reviews people were saying it was heavy but it feels light to me. It even came with a harness tool so you can easily thread the straps in which is another perk. It latches onto the base easy
4 years ago I bought the car seat/stroller set and when I was done with the car seat I gave it to my friend who was expecting a little one. Still had the stroller because it was also built for a toddler. So when I ended up pregnant again I was hoping I could find the same car seat so it could snap on to the stroller again. Boy was I happy to find this. Not only does this snap easily and securely onto the baby trends stroller, but the handle on this car seat is one of the best ones. Nice grip so you don't have to hold the car seat down at your feet. You can lift it up and carry at your hip with ease. Having a good handle on a car seat is just a deal breaker for me. The seat is easy to adjust and even comes with a Styrofoam piece to add if your baby is a little small and the straps aren't at their shoulders when coming home. Great seat, great company.
I like how it clicks just right with my double stroller for my twins. I had to buy multiple different kind at first because some would fit in front only and others on rear only and I wanted to have the same car seat for both twins. I also had problems with some not even clicking and I was told I had to put a seatbelt on it and that sounded like something I would be annoyed with after few uses in the future. My twins will arrive in December so I didnt actually got to use it yet other than trying it out with the double stroller to make sure it fits well for both car seats. I wish it holds upto 35 pounds like other car seats so I dont have To replace it very soon. Expense is double with twins.
The car seat looks nice, i haven't use it yet because I'm due in one month, the reason o don't give it 5 stars it's because this car seat is so heavy . I don't think I will have fun carrying my baby with this heavy stuff
I bought this because my last one didn't have a decent canopy, I lost it's base, and it was getting too old. This one looks nice, but as other reviews have mentioned it is a pain to unlock from it's base. I use the seat belt instead since that makes the base useless at least until my baby is older and easier to just take in and out from the car. I have used another car seat from babytrend (which came with the travel system) and it was much better quality.
Received 2 year old car seat twice in a row, go to store so you can insure you are getting a new carseat.
