I received this travel system for my baby shower from my sister and my best friend. I love the color of the stroller and car seat...the little animals on it are just adorable! It took my husband maybe 7-10 minutes to put it together. I love how the car seat looks inside of the stroller. I have been playing with it and even when you have the seat in the stroller and you cover it all, I love the fact that you can peek in to see the baby with the peek strap that is attached to the stroller. I can't wait to use this item, baby will be here soon and I am sure he will look so cute in it. We will also take the base to the firehouse to make sure it is properly in its place.
wonderful travel system, baby is a newborn so havent used the stroller much but the car seat is great, and when i have used the stroller it handles great
I have not used this yet as i'm not due until march 31st but it is very easy to put together and i'm sure i will use it every day once my baby is here.
This is the best travel system I have ever bought!! It was ssoo easy to set up. I love the way it looks. The stroller is not to big. Its perfect! The basket in the bottom is big, and Its easy to fold and easy to unfold. The color is perfect.
I have yet to use this because I'm not due for another 7 weeks or so, but my brother carried it in the dorr for me. He had it together in no more than 10 minutes. Set up was easy. The colors are great! The only thing I don't like is the warning sign on the carseat is on the side. Once he's in there, you can still see it. And the yellow of the sticker seems to clash with the other colors. Not a big deal. I understand the company has to have warning signs, I'm just very color picky.
This travel system is beautiful. The picture does not do the color any justice. The instructions are not that helpful/clear but if you have any common sense, you can figure it out pretty fast. It took me 10 minutes to put it together while 8 months pregnant. The car seat looks great, its safety features are amazing, and the way it adjusts to your child's growth is a blessing, since they grow so quickly. About the stroller, the parent tray is a help as is the storage basket on the bottom. My only complaint is that the stroller is HUGE!!! Even when its folded down, it takes up ALOT of space. If you have a c-section, you will not be able to lift the stroller out of the trunk of your car or even off of the floor. Its bulky, awkward, and heavy. BUT don't get me wrong, knowing what I know now, I would still buy this travel system. I love it in all of its bulky glory. =D
I was not totally happy when we first put the stroller together. The foot rest on the front of the stroller is brown plastic and looked discolored in spots like the plastic had been stressed. Also, one side where the parent cup holder attaches to the handle during assembly was terribly discolored as though it had been stressed, too. We bent it, hoping that it would not snap, and got it attached just fine. I also do not like the way the canopy on the carseat seems to get in the way of the handle all the time. And the canopy on the stroller is on a very thin wire frame that I'm afraid is going to snap one of these times when we pull it open. :( Folding out the stroller for use is not done with great ease either. When we ordered this travel system, we knew we were not going to like the crotch-latch on the carseat as it overlaps and then hooks in. Quite a pain, especially with one parent having muliple hand surgeries recently. The reason we went with this one anyway is because I loved the handle the most. I was interested in the Z shaped one, but after using a friends seat the had this triangle handle I loved it even more. We have not yet installed the carseat bases, we ordered 2. I am interested to see how that goes, and I definately plan to go and have the fire department check it out to make sure it's in correctly. Also, the color of the actual set is not as vibrant of green as pictured. It's a pukey green with lots of brown. I guess I am not as happy with this system as I had imagined, but it is too late to return and look for something else as I am too close to my due date. Good luck all.
I bought this stroller for my sister and nephew. Set up was a bit daunting as the instructions didn't really help and the thing is very bulky. But the color is absolutely fabulous and it's a really great item, especially considering it's at least twenty dollars less than other stroller/car seats I looked at.
I bought this travel system back in may. I was in love with the monkey and zebra on the car seat and stroller. But now after using it since the middle of august I'm not so happy with. The "visor" moves every time time you move the handle bar on the carrier and it is very annoying. Then the base for the car seat locks in the front and other car seats lock in the back. This makes it very difficult for me to get the car seat out of my truck. Cause the latch to release the car seat from the base in up against my seat. There for I don't use a base anymore and use the set belt slots on the car seat. So now I have to buckle and unbuckle the car seat every time I get the baby in and out of the car. And when puting the baby in or taking out of the car seat the handle is hard to move. Even with push in the buttons on both sides like your supposed to its still very "stiff" the buttons are hard to push in. And the stroller isn't as easy to open and close That to is very difficult. Even tho its for boy or girl I think if I have another baby I will by a new travel system. I would not recommend this one
