Exceptional value! The only complaint I have about this product is that the handle releases on the carseat are very hard to push in to get the handle to move. Also, my product was missing the rear wheel assembly, but I called the company and was sent out the missing parts no questions asked! My son fits in the seat well, adn it attaches to the stroller nicely.
I don't know what the low review on this site was doing - maybe she sat in the stroller herself, who knows. I've been using this stroller for 6 months. It's great. Reclines enough for my son to fall asleep on walks, but not too much that he is completely flat. The car seat is great, my son is just now outgrowing it. On the product information, it says 6 months. 6 months is the time when your baby will OUTGROW the carseat. The actual stroller lasts much longer than that. I use the stroller 1-2 times a day for walks, and it's great. The baby doesn't feel all of the bumps in the sidewalk as much as other strollers because of the wheels. The images I attached are what the stroller looks like right now - I took these a few days ago. This is after 6 months of use.
My husband and I picked out this particular travel system a couple years ago when we first started talking about having a baby. We tried out about 1001 different systems before deciding on this one because of how easy it was to get the stroller folded/unfolded and to get the infant seat in and out of the base. Plus, the base is about half as expensive as other ones we looked at. When we took it to the fire department to have them inspect and install it they said that it was one of the safest and sturdiest ones they've seen in awhile and that we got a great deal on it. Needless to say, we are absolutely THRILLED with our purchase and hope we get a few years use out of it.
I really loved the colors of this travel system. The main thing I don't like about it is the buckle in the car seat. It's kinda difficult to hold both pieces together and try to get them into the buckle. Love the triangle handle on the car seat. It's easy to carry my baby around and pick her up from any angle. I did have some trouble with the handle going up and down. The buttons are a little hard to push and my husband has to do it for me. That's also the same case with folding the stroller down. I have yet been able to do so. It's just too hard to get the buttons pushed just right and once again, the husband does it for me. He doesn't have a problem with it. Other than those few things, I really do love the whole set and I get a lot of compliments on it.
I just had this travel system for my second baby and I set it up myself and it wasn't that hard. It looks like it is very comfortable and I can't wait to have my baby to see how it works...
Being 8 months pregnant, this system was a breeze to set up! It took me (with some help from my 2 year old daughter) about 15 minutes to put together. The color is great! The handle of the car seat was easy to push back and pull forward. The system wasn't too bad weight wise. The price was excellent! We had a Graco travel system for my daughter and for the price, safety and ease of set up I would recommend Baby Trend over Graco any day!
We received an Evenflo stroller for our first kid a couple years ago and my wife and I hated it. It was too big and bulky and the carseat left a lot to be desired. This time we decided to go out and research the strollers instead of just receiving one for a gift. We were initially attracted to this model at TRU but when time came to buy it we learned that it was at Wal-Mart.com for a significant savings. Best choice we ever made. We love this stroller. Like many couples there is a major difference in height and the adjustable handle works perfectly for both of us. The ride is smooth and the frame isn't as bulky as some other companies. Regardless of everything else I want my kids to be safe and the Flex Loc carseat is the best buy out there. I wasn't sure if that #1 rating that's advertised is true or just some marketing gimmick. So we looked online and it TOTALLY is. Consumer Reports named it the safest car seat on the market. So to recap. Great looks, smooth ride, terrific features, and the #1 car seat you can buy. All for a price that is significantly less than the competition. I love this travel system!
This is a great product. I love the look and style of it. it runs smoothly, the basket is very roomy. My only objective is that this product is very hard to open and close. I had a really hard time the first time I took it out, I could not get it open or closed. I had to have someone on the streets help me open and close it to get it into and out of my car. I do love it, and would recommend it.
This product looks great, just like the description online. My complaint is that the buttons to move the handle on the carrier are very hard to push. Plus it is very difficult to strap the baby into the seat as the clip in the seat only comes out a couple of inches and is not adjustable. I haven't used the stroller yet but it was easy to set up and seems to work great. I wouldn't recommend the car seat because it just isn't very accessible.
To say the least this thing is a peice of junk. I bought this at toys r us. They had stopped selling this because it was a bad product and on their website it had HUNDREDS of bad ratings. The stroller broke after using it 2 times. It no longer closes and the wheels shake all over the place. BabyTrend sent me new parts to replace the closing/opening mechanism (w/out instructions) and it was worse than the old parts. After being on hold w/ Babytrend for 25 mintutes for the second time I was sent a shipping lable to mail back the stroller for repair. YOU have to find a box big enough that holds a full size stroller yourself (good luck). I would recommend to save the box if you do purchase it. PS I sent it in a dishwasher box a month ago and haven't gotten it back yet. The car seat was comfortable for my little girl but only fit in it for 5 months - not a year like as advertised. Also the handle stuck when moving it up and down. BabyTrends response was to put OLIVE OIL on it! I just recommend to save a little more money and find a better product because this thing is terrible!!!!!
