This is a great toy because you get 2 for the price of one-a vanity set plus a princess castle. It works best with the Kelly Island Princess dolls as the regular size Barbie is too big for everything except the bed. For all the accessories and uses this toy has, it's definitely worth the price not to mention how busy it keeps my 2 and 4 year old.
They thought of just about everything with this vanity. It is more of a toy than a vanity, but it was a perfect christmas present for my 5 year old daughter. The music doesn't sound very good on it, but there is so much on it for her to play with that she did not pay much attention to the music part. It was very easy to put together which was a bonus. Also, I got a very good deal at Walmart. I don't think I would have bought this at full price, but at the price I paid and seeing how happy it made my daughter, I am very pleased.
I thought this toy was great! Easy to put together, took less than an hour on Christmas morning, daughter, age 5, played for hours, back and forth between vanity and barbies. This toy is colorful, and has many fun accessories. It was a fabulous deal getting it from the on-line store, and they shipped it right away! Very pleased with this product.
I purchased 2 Island Castle Vanities for my granddaughters (4 & 5 yrs). They love it. I would reccommend this for the little one who loves the Island Princess line. It keeps their imagination working.
My daughter has been having the most wonderful time with this gift that Santa brought! Very simple to put together and seems to be very sturdy. It was even more than what I expected. This is a great gift for your young daughter it will make her very Happy!
My little girl loves this castle so much. She spends hours playing with it. We had priced it at toy 'r' us and it was 149.99 so when I found it right before Christmas for around 50.00. Wow, what a price difference. We received it by mail only three days later. Thank you Wal-mart for the timing and quality of this vanity table.
This was one of the only things that my 3 year old daughter asked for Christmas. We found it here for half-price with only 99cent shipping, so for us it was a great value. It plays music from the movie & has a light, & wasn't too hard to assemble. I am very happy with how sturdy it is. The only problem is keeping up with all the little dishes & silverware that come with it, but my daughter & her Rosella Doll have wonderful tea parties on it. At night she tucks her doll into it's bed, & wakes her up in the morning by playing the table's music. And now she leaves my makeup & mirror alone! I would recommend that you buy an extra play makup or brush set to go with it, as most of the accessories are household items for the doll. Thank you Walmart!
My 3 year old and my 6 year old love this vanity. There are many very small pieces (like silverware) that are hard to keep track of but that is my only complaint. There is built-in storage for everything and it even holds the 3 Barbies we bought to go with it. My girls play with it all the time. And the price was 1/3 of another major toy retailer.
My daughter is getting this for christmas and keeps telling everyone about it. My husband and I set it up ahead of time and hid it, we really think she will love it. So many time toys seem great on tv or pictures this one really looks and works like the pictures and she is going to be a very happy girl on christmas.
We got this for our 5 year old for Christmas this year...along with the dolls and the DVD for the Island Princess. It's a great vanity - easy to put together and she loves playing with it. The only negative is that it's a bit flimsy...but otherwise lots of fun and good quality.
