This is the third one we've bought. My kids love this Barbie is and it's one of their favorites.
My children love this Barbie Wheelchair doll. She is beautiful, the face is painted so nicely, she is very high quality and my children and I are very happy with the doll. Her wheelchair accessory is very realistic and great quality. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I love seeing dolls that are representing real-life people with real-life disabilities. This doll is a great representation of someone in a wheelchair. It's nice quality and a lot of fun for kids. Plus, it helps educate children on those with disabilities. I like that the doll bends at the arms and knees so she can be adjusted for more fun play. The hair has a nice texture as well which can easily be brushed through with a Barbie comb. The doll can be removed from the chair and clothes can be changes as you wish as well. Very happy with it and highly recommend! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
My granddaughter loves it
My daughter had her eye on this barbie for a while. She was better than I expected. She is full articulated, which helps pose her. The wheels on the wheel chair actually lock! So fun! The wheels seem to be made of rubber as well. Very very nice barbie! Well done Mattel! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Fashionista #165..... My daughter is so thrilled with this doll. Although the hair isn't as wavy as advertised it is very clean and has a nice thickness. All her joints are smooth and move as they should. Her outfit and fanny pack are all made nicely With care, the lemon fanny pack has great detail down to the zippers............The only issue we notice is with her pixelated lips/face paint. We have the same issue with our Barbie Extra #3. Is this how they are supposed to be made these days?
When i saw this doll i was glad to see Mattel bringing an item like this out , because it' shows kids that theres other disabilities out there in the world it gives the child more info & awarness of children & adults with disabilities gives hands on to explore the way a wheel chair looks like & how it works,i think that when a child that is on a wheelchair see's this doll brings a smile on their face to see that even a barbie has a whelchair, that it's ok to be in a wheelchair. The chair is well made no parts are easily to fall apart the wheels are easy to manage they spin perfectly they dont get stuck ,has a perfect handle to secure doll in place, comes with a small ramp, witch makes child use motor skills on asking what that is & whats it use for no small parts to endanger younger children, but still needs adult supervision when handle by younger children Barbie is well made has bisability of barbie being disable , one arm cant fold (it would of been good idea to add a arm pad) , because my daughter was forcing it to fold & child can brake the arm trying to fold it unti adult checks arm & tels child u cant fold it it can brake, but other than that i love this idea of bringing out Barbie with disabilities. Thank u .. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
My daughter wants to be a doctor when she grows up so she was very interested in getting this Barbie. The doll and wheelchair are well made. The wheelchair doesn't have back handles which was a little disappointing because my daughter wanted her Daddy doll to push Mommy and baby home from the hospital after delivery or have her other dolls be able to push the wheelchair around with a doll sitting in it. The ramp that is included works great on her Barbie Dream house and my daughter is able to wheel the Barbie right into the house. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
