I have used this product for years. I had a 1988 celebrity station wagon with 150,000 miles on it and a badly leaking cylinder head. I purchased bar leak and the car made it to 210,000 miles. The engine never overheated again or leaked coolant. The engine broke a valve and destroyed itself. I always recommend Bars leak.
It's been a while since iv'e used this product. But it has always worked as advertised. The first time was in the early 70s. I had just assembled a new small block chevy. A local machine shop had acid dipped the block and replaced all the freeze plugs. New cam bushings, etc. I put it all together and we hooked up the trans. Added fluids and before we could light it water was running out of the bell housing at an alarming rate. I was about to pull the engine back out of the car. My brother said why don't we try a bottle of Bar's Leak? I figured we had nothing to lose. We gave it a shot and the leak stopped in just a few minutes. We drag raced the car for two years with no problems!
I was driving across the country and ran over a dear carcass at about 2am on the freeway outside of Oklahoma City. It punctured my radiator and I barely made it to a local gas station. I found this product on the shelf and filled my radiator back up with fluid. Sure enough, it sealed right up. I was able to make it to Wisconsin, then back to Arizona without any more cooling issues. Thanks for the great product.
I bought the bars leak sealer for my 2000 chevy blazer that the radiator was leaking on and I usedan 1 bottle on the radiator and the leak stopped in like 8 minutes flat it's been in the truck 5 months no leaks works great 5 star product from a 5 star company. Thank you.john simon buffalo ny.
I used this in my old '78 Chevy pickup. It stopped a pesky leak from a puncture in the radiator. Only took about an hour of normal driving and it was gone. I kept that truck for another three years until my grandson took out a set of telephone poles with it.
I've been using Bars Leak products since the early 70s. Your product has always come through for me. It's the right product for the job. I've always liked the pellets to stop my radiator leak. The liquid product is just as effective. Thankz Bars Leak.
I put this in a new car. One year later a large rock hit the radiator and put a large hole in it. When it was sent to be fixed they found that it had twenty two holes in it that had bean there for more than a year. It did not leak I did not know there were there.
I had problem with over heating..... Then used this awesome repair product and it works great in my radiator, I used to run hot..now it's great! I also used barsleak in my old pick up truck and it ran Like new with 300,000 thousand miles on it!! And it's still running geat!! If you don't Have money to buy New vehicles (like me) barsleak will keep your ride going for a long time.!
I have been buying and using Bar's Leak radiator sealer for many decades. It has saved my car's skin on many, many occasions. It's like an old friend - never let's you down when you need it most. When you find something that works for you, you keep going back to ol' dependable.
I have been tinkering with cars since I was a teenager, and a local mechanic I used to work for taught me a valuable lesson about bars leak. It does work and I have used it several times since that first lesson and it has worked every single time. As long as you use it properly, it will work, no doubt. Great product , Thank You for making such a great product you guys.
