I have a 03 Honda element. The car was throwing misfire codes and was starting rough due to a small gasket leak. 1 week after using this product I haven't had any issues. I would recommend this product!!!
How good? ö¿ö Worked perfect and I recommend it highly. If you own a Dodge Durango and it has a leaking head gasket this is the only stop leak product to use. I changed radiator, thermostat, water pump, auxiliary water pump, fan clutch trying to fix my overheating problem with NO luck. Finally a neighbor came to help and told me it seemed to be the head gasket. Not a good thing when not working. Search everywhere online for a solution because $1,500 and up was not feasible. Viewed a few youtube videos and came upon a video where a young guy bought this Bars product. His friend captured the whole process and seemed so easy to use it. It overflowed somewhat and they followed the instructions to run the car for 15 minutes then once the engine cooled he topped off the radiator and they test drove the car for over an our with no overheating at all. It Worked! I did the exact process and today a week later and no more overheating . This product is a blessing! Ken
Great product I put this thing in my cab so far after three weeks no antifreeze disappearing even though I drive 200 miles/ day roughly. Thanks bar. I hope it lasts for year will keep you guys posted.
As a last-ditch effort, I thought I'd try this product.I had nothing to lose because my waterpump was gone, and my Toyota Sienna overheated and blew my head gasket. It was worth the $25.00 gamble because, to my surprise... it worked! Although I've lost compression, I've gone 250 miles so far.
Added this to a 2000 Jeep Cherokee sport that had the infamous 145,000 mile head crack that leaked antifreeze. It took about 600 miles of city and highway driving to finally seal it up completely. Much cheaper than replacing the head and seems to be holding up very well. Absolutely no leaking anymore.
I bought it, went from overheating to not overheating instantly. It's magic sorcery.
For months we were having to fill our radiator with coolant about every 2 weeks because of slight overheating. Additionally, when I would change the oil, the oil was milky, mostly sludge and would be super slow to drain. After doing some research online, I made a best guess that I had a blown head gasket. This is where the coolant leaks into the engine cylinders and apparently mixes with the oil causing it to sludge. People I spoke with said that's a very bad and expensive thing to fix (Over $1,000 job in most cases). Then I found several products claiming to seal or repair head gasket leaks. Bar's had the best ratings that I could find and was the most expensive about $30 for a can. Pretty cheap fix though for a $1000+ problem. What have I got to lose? I followed the directions and WALLAH! It worked! I'm no mechanic but I wanted to make sure all the sludge was out so I later bought Motor Flush by Motor Medic for about $6 at Walmart. Flushed all the sludge out on the next oil change and our 2004 GMC Yukon has been running like a charm. No more overheating, low coolant problems, or sludge! Thank you Bar's Leaks!!!
Blew a head gasket after my radiator blew. I had heard about head gasget sealer was available so do to not having any money for the repair I thought I would try this and so glad I did. took about 15 min of running and an open thermostat to seal the leak and it has been over two months now and I use my truck for my landscaping business. So pleased with the product, I would recomend to anyone who has a blown head gasget
This is just too good to be true! My car had 4 cylinder misfire codes. I was ready to replace the coils because the car was making a horrible noise, the engine would shake, and the coolant would disappear from the reservoir. I saw a YouTube video where they described the same issues as a head gasket problem. So i decided to try this sealant because it wouldn't be worth it to spend 3k-4k fixing the gasket. I'm glad I did because the issues went away after driving it a couple of times. Whoever invented this, I hope God bless you!
Got my '99 Cadillac Northstar to stop letting coolant go out my tail pipes.
