I purchased these for my husband to replace his traditional thermal underwear and he loved them. His job puts him outside during bad weather and these were perfect under his jeans, comfortable while sitting and driving and not too warm when inside. The warmth without the bulk. The fit is snug without being binding and they do not lose their shape unlike traditional cotton thermal underwear. Purchased one pair for him to try and had to go back and purchase more.
One of the best purchases ever. Bought a couple pairs for a week long x-country ski trip in Northern Quebec. Only one on the trip that never felt cold. They do an amazing job wicking sweat away to keep you dry; hang them up in the rafters and they are ready to go the next day. Very pleased.
Wore these skiing and they are amazing. I did quite a bit of research before deciding which ones to go for and I am quite happy with the purchase. They kept me warm all night long and are extremely comfy.
I bought these a few weeks ago. I paired them up a few times with the 2.0 top in single digit temperatures and was extremely warm. I love the waist band on these, I have a few Army issued leggings that the waist band digs in to me by the end of the day of wearing them but this band is thicker and doesn't hurt come the end of a long day. They definitely run a little tight but overall I am very satisfied with these. I would like another set of top and bottom but due to the price i'll just have to wash these over and over and make them last through the week. Excited to try my 4.0's next month when the temperatures really drop.
These Leggings are great , excellent fix . Gives me a snug and supportive but not like a tight compression fit . Gives excellent muscle support , keep your muscles nice and warm especially after my warmup . The thing i really love the most is they are great for multiple use indoors or outdoors , lifting , training , running , etc ! Very Lightweight but excellent warmth without getting to hot . Great for moisture control also ! Great Product for All Around Multi Purpose Use , Excellent Quality and Price !
PERFORMANCE: I took these for a jog for the first time today. It was 21F and sunny with 8mph winds. I wore these over underwear and underneath a pair of gym shorts (on top I wore gloves and the 2.0 shirt). I jogged at 6mph for 25 minutes. I stayed warm the entire time, and did not sweat hardly at all. FIT: I am 6'2" 180lbs and wear 34" x 34" jeans. The large size of these leggings fits me quite well. They were fitted but not constricting, and they were the perfect length. They stayed in place during the whole run, no adjustments necessary. VERDICT: I anticipate that these will become my go to for cold weather running.
I have used 2.0 base layers (shirt and leggings) for several years in the Canadian North. For long hunting trips in -40C/F, I put on these base layers and I have never been cold. Its always my hands and feet that get cold but never my core. I can't imagine how warm and comfortable the 4.0 series is but 2.0 are great!
Ordered both for outdoor work this cold winter, both worked well as described. I wish they would have the same for socks. I wear uniform and even the 4.0 fits without adding any unwanted bulk. Only drawback, runs a little tight. Would recommend to colleagues.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a bit thicker than I thought it was going to be, which is fine in this case. It was on sale so I bought it, not really for warmth but for hockey. Its a bit warmer for hockey than I would like. Would be great for other outdoor activities though, skiing or hiking in cold weather.
Very comfortable etc. But I found a hole in mine after only light use for a month. What's esp. disappointing about this is that it's on the ankle: how do you get a hole on an ankle when the gear is worn under other clothing? I really expected better quality for the price.
