The belt is not very substantial but we'll be in a bar so who cares? The biggest drawback is there is no fly and this would be very tough to get off and on just to go take a leak. I opened the seam at the proper place and tacked on a black "flap" inside the garment he can just pull the flap to the side then allow to go back into place when done. Voila! It's a great product for the price!!!
I researched this costume at several different retailers. This was the cheapest site. The quality is the same, however, as the most expensive ones. My hubby looks great in it and my kids loved it!!
This costume is very nice for trying to look like Batman. It's a lot of fun. It can get a little hot and is a little difficult to use the bathroom, but overall a good costume.
I purchased and returned a Deluxe $200 Batman Costume which was made of heavier materials and more of a rubber mask and breast plate, but for the cost, this is a great costume unless you plan on wearing your costume nightly.
This is an ok costume. I would not recommend it because it is considered cheap to me since its forty dollars. (Cheap as in made quickly and badly, and things hot glued on. Not price is good.)
First off the cowl could have at least had a hard plastic front. Second the belt in the picture looks way more real than the one that comes with it. The ears are floppy and made of foam so there is no way to get them to stand up right. The overall costume is great, but the cheap look of the cowl is what brings the overall rating down to only three stars. Phill
My boyfriend is 5'10 and has a slender frame(160-165lbs) and he got this outfit in a medium, we had to return it because it was too small (Hopefully this information will help you decide whether this would be a good fit, since it is hard to buy items online without having a chance to try them on). He was able to order a large, although he hasn't tried it on yet. Please be aware that the main costume is a jumpsuit and it definetly provides a snug fit, so if you plan on wearing long john's or something underneath it, i would order a larger size.
The costume was not what I thought it was going to be. The chest part was alright but when it came out of the box it was bent in certain places and I don't think that these dents are removable. The mask was nothing but cloth but for the price I couldn't expect much more. The belt was peeling apart right out of the box and the worst thing about this costume was the back. My neck was uncovered after putting on the costume because of how the cape was constructed but I attempted to fix this by hiding my neck with black face paint. So for the price of this costume I guess its alright but I probably wouldn't have purchased this product had I known it was going to have so many flaws.
got this for my husband. we got a M, my husband is a fairly small man, 5'7" and 130 lbs. the body suit fit okay, but the chest peice is too big. no one really offers a smaller size unfortunatly so we're just going to have to make it work. the mask is pitiful. the ears are completely cloth and lopsided... we will definitely have to fix this before wearing it. that aside, it will do fine.
Cape ripped through out the night all the spike things wouldn't stick up cheap quality
