My son wanted a big system for his car this Christmas. Instead of trying to match the subs, a box, amps and deal with the wiring at the same time, we just got this Bazooka and a wiring kit. This thing hits hard. Unless you want an entry-level competition system, this should fit them bill. The bass will shake you, shake your trunk (we may need DynaMat). If you want an entry level competition system you will probably want 2 10's in a sealed box + a separate 500+ watt amp. We are running 4 pioneer 4-way speakers @ 50 watts peak and the bass overshadows them if we keep the bass level up. We did end up ordering the remote bass / crossover control knobs to put under the dash.
Not built for sealed trunks. Generally not what I was thinking it was capable of anyway either. Weak, there is no shortcuts to good solid bass notes. Taking this thing back for a refund.
ordered online , item arrived and the box looked like it had been tossed around by a couple of gorillas. No joke! gave it a chance and opened it up .All parts were missing, no wire harness , no straps , no booklet , just the bazooka tube. I couldnt hook it up even if i wanted to. The tube had scuff marks on it and something was loose inside . Returned item that day!
