Bazooka bass tubes have been around forever and remain the easiest and most cost effective way to add 'bottom end' (ie bass) to a system. I have put them in autos, boats, and golf carts of all things! The latest project was a 1987 Porsche 911 convertible. Teamed up 4 polk audio coaxial speakers in the factory locations with an amplified bazooka bass tube and it essentially sounds like you have high quality headphones on both with the car standing still and going 60 mph! Congrats to both companies for proving that you don't have to break the bank to add quality sound to a vehicle!
Second one of these I've bought. Using it in my work van. Easy to set up. Highly recommend.
Love this product got in my stratus sedan already had kickers all around 6x9 through to my 3 1/4 played it at almost Almost at full blast put this in didnt go higher than half way it wont call the neighbors out but it will buzz you for sure. If its not hitting you put it in wrong.
Bought this for my teenage son's car, he loves it. Big boom for the buck and small size. Amp built right in makes it easy. However, it would have been nice to have a wiring diagram in the manual along with the explanation on wiring it up.
A little challenging to install but sounds great. Very impresssed.
Had a 8" 100 watt bazooka sub that stopped working, after 13 yrs. Got it at Walmart for $100, figured I got my moneys worth out of it, and went on-line to find another. Replaced it with the smaller 6" Bazooka 100W sub which I put in a 05 Scion XB, mounted under passenger seat. Plenty of foot room, for backseat passenger, with sub tucked under seat, vs rear cargo area, which I use alot for bikes, boards, etc and old sub was always in the way, or getting beat up. Used high out-put lines to run off rear speaker lines. Simple install.. Walmart's on-line price Ship to Store, was $50 less than most other places, Free Shipping. This powered 6" won't vibrate your door handles off, look eslewhere, but for moderate to high volume, at "reasonable levels" sounds pretty good when not over-powered. As with most subs you'll have to, up or lower, the bass levels at your headset, on certain recordings. It's punchey, and pretty clean, and loud enough for me, and my car won't shake apart. Not bad for an in-expensive, small sub, hope this one lasts as long as my first Bazooka.
Product would have been if not damaged during shipping or assembly, as the speaker is bent and rattles, i have straightened to make it useable but not 100%, I would have returned it had i not recycled the box.
